I've been thinking about watching Mr Robot once I'm done with Twin Peaks. Is it good? I've heard very mixed things about it.

I don't watch much TV, but damn Mr. Robot had me hooked. It's very creative and has really decent characters that I actually care about.

The first season is amazing. Character development is very well done and there are some pretty good twists in there. Camera work is outstanding. Second season is ok but has its moments.

They use actually screenies too, instead of photoshop. And I guess last season when one of the screenshots would have to be faked in order to pull off a huge hack, Sam Esmail told them to start over and find something that works.
Nobody but like .1% the audience would even have the knowledge to recognize this plot hole and they basically rewrote the whole arc.

I'm surprised this show isn't more popular here. I've never seen such an accurate portrayal of modern life/politics. This show is scary accurate at predicting stuff. So much so that they had to delay episodes because of major news events happening exactly as the show described and out of respect the families of those who died.
Not to mention all the ransom-ware going on now :v:
even if the shows not good(I enjoyed it still not watched S2 yet though) it has Rami Malek so it's worth a watch for that alone

Mr Robot Is a really good Story. The Tech Talk is actually pretty exact to real life and isnt some dumb bullshit mumbo jumbo.
There's also no such thing as a 4th wall since the main character talks to you in his head the entire time. The First Season starts off with him "creating" you in his head so he can talk to someone about this shit. you are a character in the show.
