I'm no fan of pop music, but these mashups are definitely greater than the sum of their parts.
Other than Lady Gaga, I don't like any of those artists.
You like lady gaga?
There isn't one halfway decent song on that entire list.
Fuck me, 2009 sucked ass.
I tought this thread was going to be a rant about mainstream pop.

You'd think the 1990s and 1980s list sucked too. Blame the media and today's generation of teenagers and children.
Kings of Leon- Use Somebody is the only song I like on the list.
On topic: The production of the video was good but don't like the music.

No, in the 90's Radiohead and Nirvana were on the radio. I'd listen to Radiohead or Nirvana until my ears bled before I listened to any of these songs on this list.
The horror.......the horror.......
God, 2009 will forever be remembered as "The Year the music was brutally murdered."

But it doesn't matter. The whole point is that he mashes them into something that's actually pretty good. I don't have any of the individual songs he mixed (let alone listen them) but I like his mashup.

She has a penis.

Rated you useful because it is obviously useful information when discussing music.
Also, those songs are terrible. Really.
It's funny how they all have the same generic beat.
Other than Jason Mraz, I can't say I like ANY of the artists on that list. And I'm Yours isn't even his best.
The only song I like is Boom, boom, pow and I don't even like it that much, the rest of them can go die in a hole.
I heard this on the radio today
Pop music has made a HUGE change the past 2 years, the early 2000's was all about the boybands, and light R&b, the mid 2000's brought a large rap influence to pop music, the late 2000s added a large dance influence to the music and even strong techno influence to the songs bringing auto tune with it.
so now you turn on the radio and hear auto-tuned black guys singing r&b and rapping to techno dance music, it's shit really.
I don't like any of these songs individually but have to admit that it does sound good put together.

It kicked as for metal for the most part.
Flo Rida isn't that great. Right Round was alright, but not great.
Plus his name isn't that unique either. Flo Rida = Flo-Rida = Florida
All the songs are good except Right Round and The Climb.

You remember Radiohead and Nirvana, but you forget about all of the terrible bands that were on the radio at that time too, like Bush, Creed, The Backstreet Boys, Puddle of Mudd, Live, etc. Music isn't going downhill.

Hahahahaha Creed that was a funny joke XD
Yeah, the 90's had alot of piss-awful excuses for music. It was a sad decade to be born in x.x
But the 00's seemed to do quite alot of good for music. Lots of new and interesting things (among the sea of shit), and it's alot easier to get around the generic radio crap and get to the actually good music now.
