“They will soon be calling me MR. BREXIT!” tweeted Donald Trump on Thursday – and no one was sure quite what to make of it. ... However, his latest pronouncement had his followers scratching their heads even more than usual.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/18/donald-trump-calls-himself-mr-brexit--confusion-and-ridicule-ens/ Trump is the next Kayne. He's not a person, hes a concept.
But... why? that doesn't even make sense to think of
But... why? that doesn't even make sense to think of
He's on a whole new level. He is homo sapiens sapiens sapiens
Another brilliant move in his game of four dimensional chess. Applause to you, Donald "Brexit" Trump.
-snip-
So he's saying he's regrettable, financially destructive, and takes forever to execute on his promises?
To be serious, I think it's more based on him expecting to be a surprise-victory despite bad polls. You know, how the world went to bed the night of the Brexit vote, confident that everything would be as it should be when they woke up again, only to see it all on fire and wondering what happened.

Then again most people consider Trump a walking disaster to begin with so regardless of which one he meant it's still accurate, lol.
I don't know much about brexit cause its not my business to judge but how does this make sense trump are you a fucking idiot? [sp]yes, yes he is[/sp] [editline]19th August 2016[/editline] trump is the best candidate ever nominated, ever, if we're talking purely amusement value The one thing he's good at is being incredibly amusing and funny, if anything can be said about him that's positive.
Maybe he's doing all of this to troll /pol/ :v:

The dog in a housefire comic comes to mind. [editline]19th August 2016[/editline] And after all, these few years have been the time where the educated center-left people have been absolutely baffled and trampled by the disgruntled far-right in most political votes, in spite of the polls.

Mr Brexit, saving the USA and the UK from unwanted minorities, one idiotic comment at a time! Trump is a genius Scholars will be debating the meaning of this for centuries
Trump has already managed to get us removed from the EU. What an amazing candidate!
Does that mean he's leaving the race?
The parallel he's making is pretty simple. He keeps saying he's running against the establishment, just like how "leave" voters were against the establishment in the sense that nearly everyone in the government wanted to remain. Funny how people overreact and purposefully take things out of context by saying things like "so he's financially destructive? Etc etc" Also what Riller said, it could also have to do with suprise victory polls.

Trump's polls are him being roundly destroyed by Clinton, there's a bigger difference between a surprise Leave win and the potential for a Trump win.
i THINK hes saying that despite being lower than clinton, he'll have a surprise win except that brexit was ahead in the polls, people just expected people to change their mind, which they didn't
i THINK hes saying that despite being lower than clinton, he'll have a surprise win except that brexit was ahead in the polls, people just expected people to change their mind, which they didn't
Brexit was slightly behind in the polls in reality just before they won, but not by much.
but unlike brexit the polls do not even remotely favor him. the brexit vote was close, very close whie the electoral college and poll numbers show that it cant happen like that
So? Trump needs to put out an image of being able to win in spite of the shitty polls he's pulling, and this could be an attempt at that. Or maybe he's similar to Brexit because it's mostly morons and bigots that support him. I don't know.
"world baffled as trump says something stupid'
I hope he goes full Jaden Smith. "How can polls be real if our voters aren't real"
I hope he goes full Jaden Smith. "How can polls be real if our voters aren't real"
"After Earth" is a good name for a movie about the Trump presidency :v:
No PLEASE don't bring our mistakes into your shitty, self destructing campaign you golden fuckup
