The survey, "How would you answer the questions all-Crimean referendum today?" Was published online March 5, 2015, as of 8 hours 00 minutes on March 9 took part in it 4510 people. For joining Russia voted 19% of respondents, another 20% "did not come to a referendum." As of 12.40 Site "Crimean Truth" stopped working. For joining Russia voted only 19% of respondents :v:
Please help me find an English source Source in Russian
So max 20% actually want to be Russian, 20% don't give two fucks and the overwhelming majority are super not for it. Well, aren't we pretty big on self determination in the West? So when are we gonna grab Russia by the balls and start twisting?
what about the 192% that wanna be russia
But didn't 99 percent of them vote yes on the obviously rigged and implausible election?
But didn't 99 percent of them vote yes on the obviously rigged and implausible election?
Hey come on, intimidating Russian mobsters were guarding the ballot boxes to make sure it was perfectly fair. Clearly there was no rigging.
"online" survey. Well there is yer problem
Interesting to see how the Kremlin would react if verifiable polls showed a majority want to return to Ukraine. I'm gonna go for "90% of Crimean population killed in mysterious attack, Kremlin uncovers it was a plot by the CIA and Kiev regime"
This is the first survey that claimed Crimea not only isn't a in favor of Russian annexation, but also wants back to Ukraine. Not surprising delusions are falling apart, Crimea just isn't self-sufficient for basic human needs. And that bridge connecting Crimea with Russian mainland is a pipe dream. Ground is too soft and winters too harsh for bridge supports to not collapse.
Is this a legit poll of Crimeans in Crimea?
How many percent of Crimea regularly use the internet and which demographic do you think they are?
How many percent of Crimea regularly use the internet and which demographic do you think they are?
best number I can find is 40%
best number I can find is 40%
Yeah that's probably a problem.
The fact that it's on the internet already excludes a lot of the pro-annexation votes because a lot of those came from older people.
online survey
It was actually an on-line survey. People wrote down their vote and put it on a line of string, where they were later counted.
online survey
Still better accuracy than boxes guarded by "lost" Russian "peacekeepers".
online survey
Dude nothing you say will look unbiased
Dude nothing you say will look unbiased
I'll say it too then. ONLINE SURVEY.
I'll say it too then. ONLINE SURVEY.
Online survey [sp]I'm sparticus[/sp]
online survey
Not so nice when the vote is rigged against you is it? Now you know how everyone else in the world felt.
Not so nice when the vote is rigged against you is it? Now you know how everyone else in the world felt.
Last I checked Zerg isn't Putin and he doesn't answer for Putin's actions. So why you addressing this to him?
Not so nice when the vote is rigged against you is it? Now you know how everyone else in the world felt.
It's not rigged, it just holds no value whatsoever. I could have voted there, you could have voted there. This poll generally says:"the internet wants crimea to go back to ukraine", but it doesn't represent what people from Crimea think. Now please enjoy this gallup poll on Crimea that really shows what people there thought after the referendum. http://www.bbg.gov/wp-content/media/2014/06/Ukraine-research-brief.pdf From wiki: I claim that this online survey holds no credibility.
Still better accuracy than boxes guarded by "lost" Russian "peacekeepers".
Neither is an accurate measurement.
Last I checked Zerg isn't Putin and he doesn't answer for Putin's actions. So why you addressing this to him?
I thought it was common facepunch knowledge that MuffinZerg is Putin's facepunch account name, and if you're russian or any nationality and you call out the more rediculus anti-russia shit like this you must be either a russophile or a KGB agent who's sole purpose is to post on Facepunch.

If they want to secede they would have to go at it a different way than "Invasion by foreign country, occupation and unregulated referendum" Until they did that everyone except Russia's lapdogs will have to not recognize Crimea as part of Russia. Even if it is the will of the people, what matters is the legality of it, not vox populi.
Well I mean this poll is a pretty innacurate depiction of people living in Crimea considering only 4510 people participated out of crimea's 2.5 million population. Not to mention this was only an Internet survey and nothing like a referendum so no one should get really excited about this.

Months laterm, 1000s dead, huge debt and a shaky ceasefire...
61% of those who have internet access and happened to come by this petition.
"Brief Online Survey" What exactly determines a 'brief' survey, and if it was online, is it not fair to suggest that citizens from other countries were able to squeeze in their votes, unfavorably? I'm not saying the Ukraine DOESNT want to be back in its' own right, but let's not cast the ship at the first breeze. Especially a 'Brief and Online' breeze.
