The dude had the thousand yard stare during his interview and that final shell going off right next to his head was probably enough to make him snap a little, I likely wouldn't be too much better considering the circumstances.

In most cases currently yeah it's a stalemate. Lines aren't very fluid.

I knew shell shock could be bad but that was just scary.

I am not saying that it's factually wrong or that it's lies or that it never happened or that it's staged. To be honest the video is very shady and seems staged, the voices in the video sound like they were recorded in a studio. But that's subjective.
It's objective however that it was carefully montaged and put together. It's purporsefully made as dramatic as possible. So yeah it's propoganda because it carries a point of view across.
Not saying it's bad though. If these people really endure such conditions then the point has to be carried to the public.
The video is not nearly as sad as the comments under it.
