aka charlie sheen needs work
Spoiler: Bush did it
It's not the fall that kills you, it's the explosives planted on the steel beams by the zionists
Whose bright idea was it to cast these otherwise comedic actors in a very, very dark and serious movie? :vs:

I guess nobody else wanted a job in a movie that has "career suicide" written all over it
I was waiting for them to crack a joke...
Charlie Sheen can't melt steel beams

I wonder if he'll try snorting WTC debris dust at some point.
This has to be the worst casting choices I've ever seen jesus.
I've never seen Charlie Sheen in a serious movie.
would like to see the board meeting where someone pitched "a 9/11 movie with charlie sheen as the lead"
Are we sure this is a real movie? I might be optimistic, but I'm getting parody vibes :vs:

Should see Platoon.
Fun fact: his dad had the main role in Apocalypse Now.

platoon and wall street, but that era of sheen has been dead for a while now

Judging by how a lot of the management has worked with Charlie Sheen before, I wouldn't be surprised if they all got together over some beers as friends and said "LETS MAKE A SERIOUS 9/11 MOVIE"
where are the emergency brakes on that elevator ?
Having watched it happen in person, I don't think a movie should be made at all by anyone. I hate the millions of documentaries made by the Discovery syndicate.
where are the emergency brakes on that elevator ?
the planes did indeed cause elevators to plunge apparently. i did some searching but i didn't find much talk about emergency brakes except that there were a handful of people who survived because of them in the south tower.

lmao this is career suicide? Charlie Sheen has done career suicide a loooooooong time ago buddy.

Well exactly, he has nothing to lose, so he's in this
This is tasteless. They took a serious, hard-hitting American tragedy and turned it into what looks like is going to be a heartfelt survival drama. Like...y'know, fuck all those people who died from the initial impact/explosion, or the people who hopelessly jumped from windows. Let's put the focus on a wife and husband who are trying to tough it out so they can reunite at the end!
The editing in the trailer makes it feel like a comedy movie
We sure this isn't supposed to be a comedy movie with the casting?
I honestly thought this was a joke, even the pacing of the trailer seemed like a hasty job for an SNL skit. How is this real.

There are a two big name 9/11 movies I know about, but one is based on the actions of a couple of cops and fire fighters and the other is about a kid handling losing his father in the aftermath of 9/11.
I haven't seen them though. It's so incredibly sad I don't know how anyone can enjoy it.
"In theaters September 8th"
I don't know if this is a missed opportunity or a good thing.
Just looks like a bunch of actors wanting to pickup paychecks tbh
I was waiting for them to crack a joke...
Yes. I do feel bad to pun this thread.
"based on actual events"
god and they wonder why so many people hates films these days
[editline]23rd July 2017[/editline]
this offends me more than youtube poops of 9/11 videos where they add laugh tracks
At least those are just senseless shit posts
this is just a senseless cash grab from terrible actors
will there be a sequel
will there be a sequel
9/12?
where are the emergency brakes on that elevator ?
Being lazy by means of plot device and flexing "true events" as hard as you could go.
