• Millionaires Will Get $157 Billion In Tax Cuts If Republicans Repeal Obamacare
Repealing the Affordable Care Act is going to be a windfall for America’s wealthiest families, even as it wipes away programs that have allowed millions of poor and middle-class Americans to get health insurance. A new government report shows just how big that windfall is. According to that analysis, which the Joint Committee on Taxation prepared this week and which the New York Times obtained, shows households with incomes of more than $1 million will get tax cuts that, over the next decade, would add up to roughly $157 billion. The money comes from two new closely related taxes that the Affordable Care Act imposed to help finance the law’s coverage expansion. These taxes affect wealthy individuals and families exclusively ― they apply only to households with incomes above $250,000 for joint filers and $200,000 for individuals. Previous estimates have suggested that 97 percent of Americans do not pay the tax at all, but that for the very wealthiest Americans, including those millionaires, it is worth quite a lot. In fact, the richest 400 families in America would get an average tax cut of $7 million per year, according an analysis that the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities published in January, based on earlier projections of what those taxes cost now. The GOP repeal legislation, which its sponsors have called the “American Health Care Act,” would not simply reduce taxes. It would also roll back the law’s expansion of Medicaid and reorient its financial assistance, producing a massive shift of funds away from lower-income Americans. Initial independent estimates suggest millions would lose insurance as a result. The Congressional Budget Office will release its official estimate next week. Kill off the poor.
Don't worry Trump supporters the wealth will trickle down.
But guys, trickle down economy works! As long as we spend tons of money on a bloated military we don't need, and a shitty wall we definitely don't need, and don't make people pay their taxes by calling it a clever idea, life will go on as it always has! *Ignore the sick and dying behind the curtain.
Could have built THREE walls with that pile of money.
The real reason they hate Obamacare.
Wow what the fuck. They aren't even trying to hide it anymore. I'd be frothing out of my mouth protesting this shit if i were an american citizen.
everyone here is a millionaire they just are a bit light on cash right now...
How did that happen in the first place, anyway? Over here that notion is really quite foreign, even though some people don't accept benefits out of, among other reasons, pride or mistaken modesty.

I am so ready for the American Republican party to stop trying so desperately to repeat that brief economic spike that Reaganomics had before it fucked us all
But I'm going to save a lot of money from this too, so why would I be angry?
Yeah I mean as long as you get yours why worry about the rest of your countrymen
But I'm going to save a lot of money from this too, so why would I be angry?
idk do you care about other humans? Most people do.
Too bad protests are seen as "annoying" when they have the nerve to try to disrupt for the purpose of awareness lol.
They're only annoying because the jews are paying all of the protesters. No one is actually against Daddy Trump.
"Make America Great Again" was a weird choice, I would have gone with "Same exact shit except way worse."
Too bad protests are seen as "annoying" when they have the nerve to try to disrupt for the purpose of awareness lol.
To be fair, most protests I see organised in the US would likely get that reaction here too. German protest culture seems pretty different in that we usually make arrangements to keep disruption low(-ish) without compromising on visibility. Disruption of unrelated specific entities is a huge no-go, and the organisers usually recognise that it would run counter to their message. The one exception against that is disruption of the specific thing that's protested against (usually via sit-ins), but even then things tend to not get overly violent when police shows up (unless the protesters in question are violent and anti-police anyway). I'm aware that this is largely a matter of the US not having close to the same protections and afaik far less official support for public protest/other active democratic participation, though. However even then, for example the recent Women's March on Washington seems to point towards it being entirely possible to protest constructively in your country, given enough preparation. I don't think many people found that one 'annoying' and it got mostly positive reporting afaict.

While imprisoned, Vigliarolo was starved, burned, beaten, sexually assaulted and tortured by three men and four women, including Hylton. It was Hylton who delivered a ransom note and tape to a friend of Vigliarolo, leading to her capture.
another was Linda Sarsour (who has tried to whitewash Saudi Arabia-style sharia) and Rasmea Yousef Odeh, Who is a Hamas Terrorist who lied about being one in her immigration papers, and is in Trial again.
The health care plan that wasn't actually a healthcare plan, but was instead a tax cut for the rich. Boy-oh-boy, gotta' love how fake that populism is. Either republicans start living in fucking reality again or we're gonna' be living in some kind of techno-feudalist hellhole in a few decades. We need goddamn moderates in office, not crazy fucking wingnuts. Even the republicans can't face their constituents over this shit because, surprise surprise, you cut healthcare for the old people and now they're pissed. Isn't this what republicans told their constituents Obamacare would do? That the plan would steal from Medicare and because of that they should oppose it? That's all I want. I don't need the dems to get everything they want, I just want the republican insanity to fucking end.
