I love samsung products but this is truly bizarre. It also will sell for $299. The price of a new Galaxy S4 and it isn't even as useful... what? And the catch so far is that it only will work with the Galaxy Note 3.
I guess it'd be useful for voyeurism.
I wish I was in a place where a new S4 cost 299 dollars. It's still around 780 dollars here.
Also this is great! Now I can add a watch to my collection of Samsung-shit. I've got their fridge, washing machine, microwave, TV and a phone. Now they just need to start making furniture and my shrine will be complete!
I never really understood the idea behind smart watches, what use do they have when you already own a good telephone which does even more, while you always carry it with you, especially when you're carrying around a note 3 already.

My mistake, that's what they go for on my carrier. It's most likely a contract price.

I don't really get it either. You need to have the Note 3 phone with you for it to even work in the first place. Which begs the question, why do you even need it? Your phone would already do everything it does but better.
Looks nice but I would expect to pay no more than 100$ for something like that
not 300$!
Smart watches are terrible. There's no reason for a watch now other than looking good or if you're into them as a hobby.
The nice watches are more than $299, but you could still get a watch much better than this for that price.
The uses besides time on a smart watch would be reading signals from your body, wireless, and nearby sensor hub for weather or spaced based cached reminders. Google glass could also work with the addition of compass readings.
The camera makes the whole thing incredibly ugly. Is it really worth ruining the entire design for a shit 2MP camera?
It'll be exciting to see the smart watch market 10 years down the road.
Presenter could 100% pull off a pharaoh of the fish sketch.
Also this reminded me:

Anyone remember this?
I dunno, I reckon there could be a market for smart watches. Perhaps as long as you don't need another device such as a phone to use it.

Yeah, a "smart" watch isn't so smart if it has to rely on another "smart" device
This is nowhere as cool as a watch with 500+ movements.
The pebble looks much more promising imo
I've heard "we are changing everything" so many times now it's lost it's entire meaning.
