For those of you that don't know what this is, the christian metalcore band, The Devil Wears Prada has released a concept album that focuses on zombies. Awesome already, right? The breakdowns, mixed with a phony newscast, shotgun blasts and chainsaws revving in the backgrounds of songs, this is one of the most interesting albums, and now one of my favorites in my library.

Its alright. Compared to their earlier stuff its a lot better, but in my opinion that's not much to say.
Also its nice not to hear any of the stupid christian lyrica that pop up everyone once in awhile with these guys. Although zombies are way overused these days, especially with scene. Better than older stuff, but still not something I would bother listening to.
Not bad. Not really a fan of TDWP though.
This is the worst piece of shit I've ever heard. TDWP needs to die along with all of the other deathcore bands. Don't get me wrong, I love my arsonists and old knights. But these guys are just kicking a dead horse.
Their old shit was a lot better, it had more life, and emotion.

they're metalcore. There's no death in there. Just because they use harsh vocals doesn't make them deathcore, there's no real death metal sound in there at all.

TDWP is one of the worst bands to ever roam the planet.
I could write an essay on how horrible they are and what makes them so horrible, but that would be a waste of time so I'll just say that TDWP is a terrible, terrible band.

Their use of Autotune and their pandering lyrics with Christian undertones, if not overtones(and don't think I have a problem with their lyrics because I'm not religious or of a different religion), make them a cut below even the most generic metalcore band. But as I said, I could literally write an essay on all the things about them that bother me and make me immensely dislike them, this is just the top of the iceberg.
Eh, well, seems as if Facepunch hates TDWP. I was expecting this, not to say I'm not disappointed, but I suppose everyone has a right to their own opinion.
I personally like the sound.
The fact about 3/4 of Facepunch is atheist may have something to do with all the hate...

Both.
I hate when songwriters (directly or indirectly)force their opinions on me, and I find that a lot of TDWP's lyrics are basically saying "You'll go to hell if you don't accept Christianity, Christianity is the way you infidels!".
I don't have a problem with bands, musicians, and people of any beliefs, religions and views as long as they don't force me to accept their views as my own, which is the exact thing TDWP does, I believe.
Second of all, real metalcore died in my opinion, and I can't stand bands such as BFMV or August Burns Red because, well, they're riding on a wave somebody else made whilst making that wave shittier and shittier with every new album.
This is the metalcore I enjoy.

I really like how you stick by your opinion without being offensive. A lot of people could learn from you.
But the lyrics make no difference to me. I'm totally down with the christan metal. I really like for today and old impending doom.
I also like old TDWP, but the autotune and newer stuff they have really bothers me.
But on the contrary, if you like tdwp I really think you'd like Bullets and Beldvedere.
