Korgoth of Barbaria - General

Well, I was browsing Adult Swim's programming listings and I happen to come across an old failed pilot that I once saw when I was younger. That show was [B]Korgoth of Barbaria.[/B] And after viewing it again on YouTube, I really can't understand why it wasn't given the go. I for one thought it was hilarious. [B]The Plot:[/B] Well assuming from the name of the show itself, you can automatically tell it's about Barbarians and that stuff. Wizards, orcs, and overall a medieval fantasy setting. With Korgoth the barbarian, doing barbarian stuff; killing, drinking, making rough love. However, that's all I can really tell, since there was only one episode. (From that you might think it's just some stupid show with a bunch of mindless gore. However, it's gore adds to the comedy, making it plenty funny; with a touch of randomness. I don't know how to explain it, but just watch it.) (Which makes puts me in a very strange position, since I'm a fan of Metalocalypse also.) I don't see why they couldn't put them both on, I mean, why the fuck did Tim & Eric get on? That show sucks ass. :confused: Discuss.

Yeah, I wish they put this on instead of Metalocalypse.

There were shows on AS that were a LOT shittier, like the one about the cop that's just a big ass on legs. I think it would be good if the just got rid of the anime shit completely and put this kind of stuff on instead.

I was pretty mad that Korgoth of Barbaria didn't get picked. I like Metalocalpyse and all, but this show had real potential.

I never really liked that show.

Everything Tom did was either stolen from him or the Mayor fucked everything over and blamed it on Tom. Poor guy. Plus that Tom's wife is a fat bitch. Oh god, I could not stand that show for those reasons. I felt too bad for Tom. Anyway, Korgoth is a fucking kick ass show. I was so pissed when it went off air. I wish they renew it.

Dude it was so fucking funny there was an episode where Gary Busey died of a heart attack so Tom had to coach the basketball team and they all got hooked on horse steroids. Anyway now that Metalocalypse has pretty much run out of ideas (anything after the first season was almost always shit), they could finish up with that and start putting this in, but I'm guessing they used almost all of their material on that one pilot.

That Metalocalypse show is nightmarishly terrible. Staying on-topic, if there's only one episode, CN wouldn't make as much money off of it as they would other shows, which is why they won't air instead of the other shows. Either way, the late-night Adult Swim shows are all shit anyway.

There's two popular voice artists in it that I can't stand to hear. They are just so annoying and bring the same voice to every part. I just keep thinking I'm watching camp lazlo *shivers* Still love the guy who does bender's voice, he's awesome.

Also i loved korgothm, hopefully they will drop some of their shitty anime and use it's spot for two episode of korgoth or 1 korgoth and a robot chicken

I loved this show when I watched the pilot way back when it came on. I wish they had put both because I love this and Metalocalyspe.

I'd choose this show over Superjail. Not Metalocolypse, though. Any mundane idea that Brendan Small comes up with seems to turn into complete awesome somewhere in the process.

In my opinion, Superjail, Korgoth, Metalocalypse, and Robot Chicken put together in one two-hour block is a cocktail for mind-blowing. Also, I want futurama back, which is happening soon. :dance:

The new Futurama shows are a dream come true for me.
