Lately, I've been coming across a lot of sites that have something to do with guys exploiting their ex-girlfriends in some way/shape/form. I find it amusing, and it's fun to look at, especially ones that have stories. I came across this one today on 4Chan..
LINK REMOVED
It's got some sort of live webcam feed of her bedroom (that's what it said on 4Chan.. no I don't have the link to it)
So if any of you have sites like this, please share.
EDIT: 'Twas a rootkit :s
That looks like a legit link.
Don't they all? Oh and look at the ad at the bottom, made me lul.
4chan chan chan chan chan chan chan
Totally legit link man.
Because of the domain?
well thank you! smart sharing a rootkit sit,. never trust 4chan!
what in the fuck is a rootkit :s
Avast just detected about 16 different viruses on that site.
Yes, I clicked it. :sigh:
A rootkit is a type of software that is designed to gain administrative-level control over a computer system without being detected.

Thanks FunnyBunny ahaha.
lol, rootkit.
In relation to the topic: things like that make me sick.
I saw once, a guy found a chick on Craigslist who was a virgin and just wanted someone to show her the ropes, and he put it on a livestream without her knowledge. Fucking people.
iJeax, if you didn't get any alerts or warnings viewing that website, your OS is probably pretty compromised.
Goes for anyone else who hit it and didn't hear a peep from their AV.
To be honest, I didn't trust the link that much either so I waited before other people could pin-point if it was legit or not. Guess it wasn't, I removed it. I just don't get how you can get a virus without downloading anything.
You did downloading things, lots of them. When you view a website you download dozens or even hundreds of files regardless of whether or not you want to. Images, text, cookies, and other objects integrated into the page. Sometimes these are designed to be hostile and execute small scripts that allow for remote access/key loggers/whatever to exist without you knowing.
So, if you did view the website (you haven't been clear as to whether or not you have), download Avast or AVG and start scanning.
I've already got avast, malwarebytes and spy-bot s&d. I'll scan right now, though. Thanks.
