It's awesome. It's the first thing I thought when I ran this game. And it still is. And has potential to be even more awesome.
It's lots of fun,you guys should try it.I remember on one match I played there was a long tunnel heading into enemy territory marked by a big red box and two arrows pointing at it.It was epic.I got a bunch of my team to attack them from there.When I got through,they were taking cover in the blown-up bits of the exit and shooting at the greens.Suddenly,just one grenade and they were all dead.
All dead-but me.I managed to kill one or two greens before they got me.
This shit is so cash.

I don't think it's purily based on any war, it has a WW1 feel to it tough, due to the focus on fortification making. Basically, due to the lack of content like guns etc. the community ''decides'' in what war it takes place. The game has a certain ''war is hell'' feeling to it imo due to it's endless grey hills and fog, and the countless over-serious fan art of poeple sitting in trenches with mortar shells flying everywhere made by its fans.
Too bad it doesn't work.

I believe the creator also said he doesn't want snipers or maybe even wants to stick to the current assault rifle as the only (normal use) weapon, since it's quite versatile (he may add machineguns, if he finds a way to balance them, I think of having to set them up as mounted ones first, which takes some time and is clearly visible or hearable)
