Christ almighty. How many people need to burn for this? All these petitions and boycotts and its STILL doing better than modern warfare. Either IW is lying through their fucking teeth or there are some people that need to be beat over this. WHO would want to play the PC version considering IW raped it the way they did.

I bought it on PC.
The thing is, what they did to the PC version made it exactly the same as the console version, people make out like they made the PC version to be really shit, whereas in reality it's the exact same as the console version.
However, for it to be a console type game is not a good thing, a lot of features the PC version has are missing.

Maybe it's because the majority of boycotters "BOUGHT" the fucking game.
My point being, it now makes no difference if you buy the console version or the PC version, the experience is the same. I bought it on the PC because of the better controls and the fact that my friends bought it on PC too.

I know a few people who said they weren't gonna buy it after hearing about IWnet. They all then gave in and bought it anyway. They now all say it sucks, too. Bought they can't do anything about it now, Activision has their money.
It might be because Modern Warfare 2 on PC is actually pretty damn good. Multiplayer can be annoying at times but it never takes that long to find a decent server. The gameplay is top notch too. I don't think its the "boycotters" who are giving in as much as just more people being exposed to this game.

Why would I want multiplayer that would be "annoying at times" when I can go play CoD4 and have multiplayer that's never annoying at all because I have a choice.

You know the answer to that question, nevertheless.
Alot of people are bored of CoD4 now and want to play something that is just as good, if not better, with a lot of new features. The multiplayer problems are really not that bad, sometimes you'll search for a server and get a dodgy connection, then you can just search again. If you really want to play a specific game the new system functions well enough. Playing with mates also helps. If your playing with about 5 friends there is a high chance one of you will be selected for host, so thats not too shabby.
If you are perfectly happy playing CoD4 then fine, that's cool. But don't be put off MW2s multiplayer for those kind of reasons. Alot of people still hate it so they can justify their initial distrust for the proposed system. But here's the deal, it works. It's not perfect but it works. If you want to experience some new weapons, maps and other features then go for it, if not, that's sweet.
I'm one of the ones who actually bought the PC version. I'm quite happy with it to be honest. Apart from a few obvious things. But that's where I can fall back on Modern Warfare.
This game is awesome for people that love SP more then MP.

Sure it's superior, but it would be even better if you didn't have to deal with all the shit from a host-driven system. Sure dedicated servers have shitty mods or rules, but if you find one you like, with good ping since you can SEE the latency, you're more likely to stay with it and barely play on any other server.
Yeah people said that before but it's fucking common sense. PC =/= consoles. Consoles are cheaper, smaller, identical "pick up and play" so you don't have anything lagging the server other than the connection. PC you got alot of shit in the background and dedicated servers have been there for over a decade.

You've clearly never tried it, because the PC version is still great.
There is now no difference from the PC and Console versions of Call of Duty, except for inter-changeable graphics, and maybe an easier aim because of the mouse on a PC.
