My first real attempt at any such style, and it's not mastered quite perfectly, but this is the general jist of it.

Comments, thoughts, criticisms?
links are screwed bro
use speedyshare.com
I forgot why I stopped using Speedyshare. I think just because it didn't have an in-browser media player and people are lazy. I'll just upload it there though.
Updated.
Use Soundcloud dude, noone's gonna be arsed to download your songs.
I downloaded it, it's actually pretty nice'to listen too. :p Kinda freaky too. But fits the style.

Yeah, people are lazy shits, which is why I used zippyshare in the first place, cause it has an in-browser media player, but apparently the links crapped out.
Trying SoundCloud.

Soundcloud is crap, it won't even send me my email confirmation that it said it did.

This is awesome. Love the Donnie Darko samples. You should release more like this.
Thanks, bruh. I plan to dabble some more in that style.
It's pretty good, but you should make the wubs sound sharper and louder.
Also, you need more subbass.
For sure, I'll take that in mind when I'm doin a similarly styled tune in the near future. I've definitely had more than one person tell me that I need more sub.
Well and I might go back and do a little more with this sometime later, cause I was gonna work on the mastering anyway.
You really got something going. I like your stuff of myspace a lot. Is there a sound from Quake in "Reintegrate"?
Keep it up!
Nah, I did that one quite awhile ago, but I think everything in it was either sampled from random objects or synthesized.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. :)
Oh wow. I really enjoy songs with lots of crunchy bass. Excellent stuff.
This is very good, but I reckon the wubs sound a bit weak. I figure a stronger bassline would make this totally orgasmic.
Good work!
Intros pretty weak, other than that, good job!
Very nice indeed, well done
Thanks for the kind words. I'll keep in mind for next time, more sub, and more wub.
Pure sex.
Haha that's fucking brilliant. Only critisms are you need a hell of a lot more subbass and the kick and snares are a little weak.
What are you using to create the awesome variations in the main synth?
I also think you should tone down the atmosphere sounds when the main synth is playing, seems to sound a bit out of tune and odd with it there. Really though, that's one of the best dubstep tunes I've heard here - make it heavier and you could get a release with this.
Hat and snare are just horrible, sound like midi drums.
Pretty cool eh otherwise.

Lol wat. Well they certainly aren't MIDI drums, I can tell you that. They were out of a pack, but heavily modified, compressed, and combined with other shit. I thought they sounded fine. Matter of opinion I guess.

Yeah, I also felt that the beat was getting a little lost when some of the heavier shit came in. And the background ambience probably was a little loud to be played when everything else is going. Definitely gonna go back and work on that.
And for all the variations I used a combination of modulations and automations on different parameters on the main synth (which was made in Massive), and also an external filter over that that I also automated the rate of to get those transitional fast wubs at a few points. Oh yeah, and for some of the distortion on it I used izotope trash.
Glad you enjoyed.
Just stumbled into the CC for the first time in months, glad to see your making music again gnome :)
(sorry if I'm incredibly late)
