This is the trailer for my new Fallout 3 movie. Tell me what you think as it is my first attempt at a serious movie.

Honestly, it seems a little bland. The music didn't really fit well with it either.
I would try with a more interesting font too, this one seems so generic and blank.
Aight thanks bro. Is it terrible for a first video? My skills with vegas pro arent great, im just concerned about the story line. Is it compelling enough?
A super soldier made in a lab that will kill anything to find out the past?
Extremely generic.
Sounds like it's a non-mutated fallout 3 version of "The Prototype".
1. Mute the beginning and add eerie music.
2. SMALLER GODDAMN TEXT (also try italics)
3. Different background music (unless you're going to make a "street story" don't use that kind of music"
4. Cut of the bits of video that are long. (like when the bodies are falling down, it's boring to watch that)
5. Add some filters (it looks bland)
6. Text that zooms in and out would look great.
7. Slo-mo and speed-up adds a pinch of professionalism.
I'm just trying to help an aspirating artist get the much needed critique I never had. :emo:
Learn from your mistakes and don't look back, ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD! :eng101:
Aight thanks mcnab. I understand that the trailer is generic, but the story i have planned out isnt. I just got Vegas like a week ago so once i get it down a bit better i can add effects and shit.
It honestly just looks like gameplay with text and music (non fitting music at that) added.
I would look at other trailers for short films other people have made (concerning video games) to learn some helpful hints.
2 posts above also has some nice advise.
aight. Im still gonna work on the movie but im gonna add effects and make it better. This was just kinda to test vegas.

What version of Vegas are you using? It's a really good program if you take the time to learn all that it's capable of.
