• So I completely broke my new bathroom...

To give a little back story, my house is being completely redone at the moment, and the bathroom is currently under renovation. It should have been completely finished by the end of this week, it looked pretty damn awesome up until a few minutes ago. Jesus Facepunch, I'm wet, and not in a good way...but I digress. So plumber number one finished the toilet some time ago, but due to paintwork, building work and shit he only said we could use it today, and as I am home alone, I thought, why not take full advantage of it (in the most defecatory manner possible of course). I waited for the workers to go on their lunch, which they usually spend outside or at another location, and then inspected my pristine new porcelien friend. I gripped it and shook it a few times, there didn't seem to be a problem. I then braced my buttocks upon my new and kingly throne. But woe is me, for I did find my usually exquisite balance being off thrown as I leant down to grab a sheet of bog-roll. I have slow reflexes, and it took a second for me to register my rapidly falling trajectory. Flailing wildly I took hold of the nearest protruding object, the brand spanking new sink, which without a word of a lie just came off the wall like putty. I have the feeling they hadn't attached it yet, but I couldn't say for sure. What I did know for sure is that they HAD attached the toilet to the plumbing, if not the floor, because the water came spilling out after me. I landed with a wet thud on the floor, narrowly avoiding banging my head on the sink (graze on my knee however, from unfinished, and now ruined soggy wood floor) and just lay there in the dampness, in disbelief, pants around my ankles and nice shirt ruined. Along with the fruits of my strenuous labour. Heres an artists impression of the scene. The water didn't shoot out of the floor or anything, but it did dribble, and it looks really weird. One tap is dangling off the actual sink section and there's marks over the floor from all the falls. And did I mention the builders are back anytime soon... due back half an hour ago infact, I'm at a loss. You can't even help...but oh well... *Note: Shitty MS Paint drawing done on a laptop in seconds, I am no artist, merely a patriot with a story to tell..
Oh man
What have I do indeed. What have I do.
What a shitty situation.
that's a really crap pun
I know. :v:
Oh piss, would be shit if i were you
oh an mspaint drawing so funny
Sink wasn't attached properly yet, there's no signs of trauma on that bit of the wall
You're up shit creek now.
Haha, sucks to be you really. I wonder how the plumbers will take the situation.
Smash yourself knock out and make it look like an accident.
You are in deep shit dude.
Yeah, clean up, blame cats, shout at builders for skipping work (Still not back thank god) thats my plan
3 posts, joined today, did generic ms paint drawing. Fake story is fake.
3 posts, joined today, did generic ms paint drawing. Fake story is fake.
Agree.
Why not build it on the bottom floor?
Cause theres no space? They ripped out the old one to put this new one in...and I think I'll be ok, builders never came back after lunch, so mum will be angry about that to start with, and for all she knows the way it is now all dried up is how it should be. Cake
Make another MS paint drawing about the plumber's reaction to this.
The plumber isn't going to be very happy with you.
I'm just waiting for an update with a picture of the OP's now empty wallet.
Epic toilet story.
The plumber isn't going to be very happy with you.
Yes he is, this means more work for him, that means more money for him too.
oh an mspaint drawing so funny
Piss off
I'd be pissed after being in such a shitty situation.
Make a thread about it. Interesting read though.
what the fuck is that drawing i cant understand what its showing
The worst part is that you've implied that you where already half way through taking a dump What did the builders say to that? "Oh the cat did it, then crapped furiously and attacked the sink. Coffee?"
oh an mspaint drawing so funny
it's tradition.
