And no I don't mean in handcuffs... *Audio starts around 00:40* As a Spokane resident I have actually run across this officer in downtown before, hanging around the bus plaza he stops by and just starts talking to people. I have even talked to him myself, he really tries to interact with the community as best as he can. Even before all the police brutality going on he was this way, now more than ever he is trying to dispel the rumor that all cops are bad. I still see him from time to time and he always remembers my name and chats for a few minutes. We do have some pretty bad cops over here in Spokane so it makes me feel much better knowing this guy hangs around and I have had the opportunity to get to know him.
People are dumb.
People are dumb.
Yeah I agree, she seems like the kind of person who tries to provoke cops by filming then and acting like an asshole. The other guy seemed a little more reasonable but even he was kind of talking BS. At least he is talking to the right cop for it, this guy loves to talk to people.
people who think officers have 'quotas' are some of the most mis/uninformed I've ever met, really not that they can just be an officer and do nothing all day, but seriously
Of course they don't want to go on a ride along, because all they would see is cops pulling speeders over or dealing with drunks.
This is a symptom of the media over covering everything and making everything seem like a pandemic. This is simply a person who actually buys into the news media more than they should.
He secretly is trying to talk to his girlfriend, it's all a sham.
It's easy to see them by their uniform and forget that they are people too.

I hate how when he starts making good points she quits filming, starts dicking around on her phone all of a sudden acting all disinterested and then walks away. He's totally right - she doesn't want her mind changed. Doesn't even care.
can someone summarize it? It may sound mean but I can't be arsed to watch a 15min street video
can someone summarize it? It may sound mean but I can't be arsed to watch a 15min street video
It's just talking to be honest, stick it on in a tab and browse while it's playing so you can listen. That's what I did while tabbing back in to check it out for a minute or so.
So she doesn't believe that all cops are bad, yet she walks up to an officer she knows nothing about and tries to provoke him? Fuck off.
So she doesn't believe that all cops are bad, yet she walks up to an officer she knows nothing about and tries to provoke him? Fuck off.
Not *all* cops. Only 75% of cops. This is the world we live in? Seriously? 75%? I like the officer's teacher analogy
that guy standing next to the lady filming is actually being really reasonable about it
i have mild policophobia and this cop sounds like a real bro. that girl is quite an asshat though.
the sickening thing is that people like to hate cops. it makes no fucking sense
People like to feel morally superior I guess.
I think people get a little too confused on the fact that race isn't the same as culture.
So glad I live in Spokane
I really like police officers in the PNW and I really like this guy. good for him.
