[quote]BOYNTON BEACH - A judge set a $25,000 bond this morning for a Boynton Beach woman accused of attempting to hire a hit man to kill her husband.
During a court hearing, Judge Ted Booras agreed to an arrangement made by the defense attorney and prosecutors to release Dalia Dippolito on the bond and place her on house arrest at her mother's home in Boynton Beach.
In addition, she must have no contact with her husband or the confidential informant who reported the alleged plot to police. She will have random drug tests and is permitted a one-time visit to her husband's residence under police supervision to collect her belongings.
The honeymoon was clearly over Wednesday when Dalia Dippolito was charged with solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
She hired a "hit man," really an undercover Boynton Beach police officer, to kill her husband, Michael, for $3,000. Police said when the hit man asked if she wanted him murdered, the 26-year-old laughed and said, "I will be very happy.
"I'm not going to change my mind," the wife said. "I'm 5,000 percent sure I want it done. When I set my mind to something, I get it done."
On Friday, police were tipped off to Dippolito's plot. They then orchestrated a fake hit man and set up surveillance cameras that recorded Dippolito freely speaking of her spouse's demise.
Strangely, Michael Dippolito, 38, was not too surprised to learn of his wife's alleged plot.
"I'd lay down in bed at night and I knew something was wrong," he said.
Police were called to the couple's home in March for a suspicious incident, in April for a domestic dispute and in May for phone threats.
Michael Dippolito works from home in his own e-mail marketing business.
"I just wish she would have left. This is senseless," he said.
He described Dalia Dippolito as "vibrant" and "exciting." She'd make him dinner. They'd go to the movies on Fridays. But there was unsettled financial business and open-ended stories.
Dalia Dippolito handled the finances, but payments often did not make it to their destinations, he said. He confronted her and his wife, a real estate agent, got defensive. He muses her motive was to keep the house.
Dalia Dippolito denied involvement in the plot to kill her husband as she was escorted out of the police station Wednesday:
"I didn't do anything and I didn't plot anything," she said.
Michael Dippolito learned of his wife's plans early Wednesday when police banged on his door. Dalia Dippolito had gone to L.A. Fitness on Congress Avenue expecting her husband would be killed while she was away, police said.
The couple was married Feb. 2 after having met at a Starbucks in the fall of 2008. It was Dalia Dippolito's first marriage and her husband's second. Michael Dippolito filed for divorce from his prior wife in October and the divorce was finalized Jan. 28, according to court records.
Police would not talk about the "confidential informant," police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said. In a probable cause affidavit, police said the informant was someone worried "a friend was going to kill her husband."
Dalia Dippolito, though, turned to that person to link her to a hit man. She gave the informant $1,200 to buy a handgun. She told the informant she wanted her husband dead by Wednesday, according to the affidavit.
Officers took Michael Dippolito to the police department while they staged a crime scene and called his wife to the couple's townhouse in the 1300 block of Via De Pepi Drive.
Police filmed Dalia Dippolito's reaction as a sergeant broke the "news" that her husband was dead. Dippolito appeared to be crying, gasping for breath and saying "no" repeatedly.
In taped conversations, Dalia Dippolito talked about coming up with an alibi, told of her husband's whereabouts on Wednesday and gave instructions on whether the murder should appear random considering her husband has a lot of enemies, according to the affidavit.
Michael Dippolito has previously faced legal issues. He was sentenced in 2003 to two years in prison after being convicted of grand theft, organized fraud and unlicensed telemarketing, according to Florida Department of Corrections records. Those records show he spent a little more than seven months in prison. He remains on probation until 2032 from those cases.
Reflecting on the way his marriage soured, he said: "I am very lucky looking at it. All these bullets I dodged. This isn't the life I wanted."

tl;dr: Wife hires hitman to kill husband for 4200$. Hitman is an undercover cop. The day he was supposed to be shot, police call her and tell her her husband was murdered. Police set up a fake crime scene with detectives and whatnot outside of her home. She tries to fool the cops, she gets owned, husband laughs in her face.
Stupid bitch.

Didn't this happen a while ago? Or at least something just like this? I could have sworn there was a thread just like this ages ago.
The title of this thread bears a striking resemblance to one I posted: "Father Hires Hooker to Bed 14-Year-Old Son, Hooker is an Undercover Cop"
We need to find a series of articles of the form, "<noun> Hires <noun> to <verb> <noun>, <noun> is an Undercover Cop" and post them, just for shits and giggles.
Rofl waffles.
Fuck it

Yeah, first thing I thought of.
Haha bitch got owned
This is no surprise, it happens often. There really aren't many hitmans in real life.
Ahahaha, she's an idiot.

The husband is a telemarketer/email marketer:

'sept the dead.
Bitch deserved it.
Seriously if you get tired of a marrage the least you can do is get a devorce, not fucking hire a person to kill them.
Well she sure learned the importance of vigilance.
i think
I was disappointed when I didn't see any bald guys with serial numbers on the back of their heads
I've seen something extremely similar a few years ago. They basically did the same thing, but at the end when the detectives interviewed her, they brought her husband out and lets say a there was a lot of and she was arrested. What makes this striking similar is the fact a woman placed the hit on her husband.
Bitch just got owned.

She couldn't afford him. This is what happen's when you go cheap.
A majority of "Hitmen" are actually undercover cops, you will rarely ever find a real one.

She's got some disproportionally large tits.
These kinds of stings happen all the time, but this is the first time I've heard of one where the police set up the fake crime scene and all that.
Haahah, what a noob.
Only 4k? Meh.

I really don't see how that's relevant.

Yeah, because DarkRP = Hitmen.
DarkRP = Deathmatch.
Anyway I want to see this video.
