Apparently some fans from the south (Cowboy fans) were in the stadium in NY as well, and when the light malfunctions happened, a brawl started between Cowboy fans and Giants fans.

The team you like is based on your location, this is dumb, you should like the team that you like, regardless of were you live.
Sports fans are fucked. I enjoy watching or attending a game every now and then but I don't get bent out of shape emotional over it.
