Are you a Metallica fan? Have you ever wondered what Metallica would sound like if it were a bluegrass band instead? Well, ponder no more for now you can hear the results yourself thanks to the miraculous power of Iron Horse! I, for one, completely fell for this stuff being the old Metallica fan that I am. Basically, these guys made bluegrass versions of their favourite Metallica songs in such manner that it's right there with Apocalyptica in my list of best tribute bands. It's not everyone's cup this though but think of in a bit of a tongue-in-cheek manner rather than taking it seriously like your deathcoregrindmetal. Here's a few pieces that I found on youtube, but the best are on the two albums (Fade To Bluegrass Vol. I and II, they have songs like Creeping Death, Sanitarium, Sad But True and MoP) so I suggest you go get them, they should be available easily on iTunes. Enjoy! Really well done! Loving this. I did like the country elements from Load and ReLoad so it's no wonder to me why this works.
This is awesome. I don't even like Bluegrass, but this is awesome. Metallica should have became bluegrass after the black album. :v:
