Tends to happen in the first 150 years of settlement. Generally when you take over a piece of land that had people previously living on it, you will probably be attacked and shot at for around 150-200 years before they just get over it.

Kinda like what we did with the Indians here in America, our settlements were attacked by tribes because they were pissed that we just got on their land and took shit.

Yeah, when you live in a piece of territory that was conquered in the last 70 years and still have native Palestinians living there you are going to get bombed.

I have no knowledge of this so my opinion is probably worthless.
But to me it doesn't matter who owns the land or not, they're both guilty for crimes against humanity, and therefore none of them deserves it (unless those who wish to live in peace).

Israeli children born a few years ago don't deserve to live there. Neither does that Palestinian shopkeeper over there.
