Private, what was in it?
Oh, sorry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zri1c_If6Ic
-snip- already fixed
Signed the fuck up for the beta.
I cannot wait for some of the parodies we're going to see over the next few weeks.
oh god my dreams have come to life, no more gmod
I think I seriously crapped my pants at this. Signed up for an invite right away.
I think I seriously crapped my pants at this. Signed up for an invite right away.
you are disgusting
It's really neat that you can record normal gameplay and edit it over in the SFM. I'm really, really looking forward to this.

I cannot wait to see what projects come out of this, this looks amazing.
Definitely going to be making alot of videos with this, nice.
This is pretty amazing and looks fairly user-friendly. I don't have any video making talent but I signed up for the beta because why not. It looks fun.
hope this will be compatible with gmod in the future if not now.
fucking finally
I checked the FAQ and it's only tf2 for now, but I'm not sure if how far it would take to run filmmaker in l4d or gmod like just a few changed scripts or it's more complex then that.
Prepare for a thousand fake frag videos.
Oh god awesome, can't wait to play around with it
...And I remember when I was proud when I managed to play a faceposer animation on a bot in TF2
The video makes it seem really easy to use. It looks so much fun, I just wish I had any talent with this kind of stuff. Can't wait to see what the community comes up with.
As grand as this is, i'll still use Gmod for some things.
This will be great.
alyx sex films here I come
Definitely going to be making alot of videos with this, nice.
Definitely going to pick up making videos as a hobby again.
1:40 - 1:42 Okay I'm sold. Take my money, Valve. Just shut up and take it. My biggest concern about the Source Filmmaker is that it would have the same restrictions as the Source Faceposer, which is to say you can only use existing animations, meaning that if you want your models to do something that they're not rigged to do by default, you have to build the animation yourself.
Jesus Christ the Source Engine is actually bloody beautiful.

So, I haven't checked out the site yet, but from what I can tell from what you guys have said here, does the Filmmaker beta currently only support TF2 content? If that's the case, I think I will wait until the full public release. Especially if it will be able to support mods. There's some pretty neat things out there - off the top of my head, imagine a high-quality film made with Filmmaker using content from the mod Dystopia? That'd be cool.
