Chapter 1
I stare in the darkness, before noticing my eyes actually are closed. I open them, to stare out into another darkness.
I can't see anything, where am I? Am I blind?
My questions are quickly answered as the sound of tires going over asfalt are being heard. Lights comes from a source behind me. I turn around, looking up to a wall. There stands an old kingbed with giant windows on its' sides. A small cupboard is on the beds right side. I take a step closer before the car appareantly decides to change course, swiping the room into darkness once again.
Slowly filled with panic, I start digging in my pockets.
Where is my flashlight. I know I brought it with me.. I get ahold of a metal tube and quickly drag it out, flashing it up infront of me. The light is vague, the battery probably won't hold longer. Without studiying the room further I turn around, shocked, I notice there is nothing behind me. Just a plain brick wall. What the hell am I doing here, where am I, by the way?
I hear footsteps, turning around. I feel someone is staring at me, quickly, I point my light in the direction I feel the observer is located at. Nothing.
I feel a chill, before looking around. I slightly panic. I hurry to the windows, before falling over an object. I land with my right hand in something sharp, I drop the flashlight and it rolls long away.
I swear, slowly pushing myself up with my left hand. Taking my hand on my shirt, I drag a piece of cloth over the wound. Lightly, not for the pieces to go further in. I slowly walk to the flashlight, located far to the right. I hear glass breaking as I walk, I pick up the flashlight and turn around.
On the floor there lies a old photo. I pick it up and observe it, the picture shows an old man, with his kids standing infront of him. Behind them something that looks like a plane wreckage is located.
I stare at the picture for a while before someone the voice of someone behind me says something simple. He says my name.
"Otto."
I quickly turn around, holding the flashlight. There is no-one there, I gulp, getting that chilling feeling again. I turn around again, dropping the photography on the floor. The sound of a vehicle passing is heard again, quickly, before the light dies out, I rush into the window, throwing myself out into the night.
