It isn't necessary, and in most cases you're just trying to instigate something.

I went outside with my camera once and the police swarmed me, Matrix style all yelling at me that I had "instigated" them.
I simply refuse to exit my house anymore. After I saw a police officer one day, I fortified and militarized my house to prevent these pigs from attacking me.
They're all bad, I'm certain if I exited my house I would be beaten to death.
Am i seeing what i'm seeing at 4:15 in the first video?
what an awful selection of small scale events with bad individuals
Anyone remember that cop that shot and killed an innocent 14 year old kid that ran away from him for fighting with another kid? I read that he hid in a shed and the cop exited his car with his gun drawn and killed the kid in cold blood. I also read that this cop didn't even get a slap on the wrist for his murder.

A source perhaps?

Here let me google that for you:

It is cherry-picked footage, but the point stands I believe. There shouldn't any action against filming police during an arrest or incident - if anything, it serves as invaluable evidence in court.
This goes for all altercations and law violations as well. You wouldn't believe how much more simple a case goes when there's very hard evidence like film or audio recordings.

Holy shit I must say Im surprised.
But take hint guys, please DO film the police just incase they do things like that on the first video.

Why? The video is right, the police are consistently too brutal. At least in America, because our training standards are absolute shit.

Im surprised at the fact he only got put on patrol.
Police Brutality happens just as much in other country's as it does in the U.S, but I do agree something needs to be done about.
And the first clip in the video was a justified shooting.
In case you believe misconducts don't happen often: http://www.injusticeeverywhere.com/

To be perfectly fair to the cops in that clip, if I just tazed a guy with a sledgehammer and he kept walking like nothing happened and then charged at me, I probably would've panicked too, but they didn't have to keep fucking shooting him.
You guys remember the part where they uploaded a video of a cop patrolling a neighborhood? Of course not, only the bad stuff gets put online which makes people think all officers are bad.
You have to be literally retarded to think it's "super" common. I, and everybody that I know have never had a bad experience with cops that they didn't cause.

that's a pretty dumb thing to say.
i live in the Bay Area and i see fucked up shit that cops do everyday.
the problem is the institution of the police force, not the individual police officers.

If you watch the video closely you can see the guy with the sledgehammer didn't actually go down until the last few shots.
I was going to post a relevant video, some cop stop in the UK where the cop keeps asking questions he's not obliged to answer and keeps trying to take his camera, but it's gone because of some copyright claim

Well yeah but the point still stands. Would the cop patrolling the neighborhood care if you recorded him? Probably not. But what about the one who beats a man over simple speeding?

why would people upload a video of a cop doing what they SHOULD be doing? why should they be praised for doing their job properly? i don't think police OFFICERS are bad, i think POLICE are bad. not the individuals, but the organization itself. and if you dispute that, look at the police code of silence, if good cops stand aside and let bad cops do bad, then i don't think they're good cops. i've never had a good experience with cops in my life.

if a public servant has a problem with being filmed by the people they're supposed to be serving they shouldn't be in that line of work.

How is an organization that prevents crime bad?
The first clip in the first video was justified because he was about to strike and officer with some blunt object even after getting shot with a tazer in the head. The rest of the video I have no clue since I didn't bother watching the rest.
How is an organization that prevents crime bad?
the idea isn't bad.
at 4:15
The guy just fucking FLEW OUT OF HIS CAR after ROLLING OVER IN A DITCH. And what do the police do? Beat the shit out of him. HE ALMOST DIED, but w/e, it doesn't matter because its totally justifiable :downs:
Why are you people saying it's ok if it is only a minority of cops that do this? It disgusts me seeing people like you guys. These cops don't even get a slap on a wrist for their brutal behaviour.
What would happen if a passer bye caught police beating an innocent person, then took it upon themselves to stop it? by say shooting the offending officers? ive never heard of this happening but I believe it will happen one day.
