The 20-year-old son of a Swiss millionaire set fire to a Ferrari so he could get a newer model.

The 20-year-old says he was advised by a car dealer to commit insurance fraud. He hatched a plan with friends to set fire to his car, but to cover his tracks decided to do so over the border in southern Germany.
He paid three accomplices around $15,000 while he visited a massage parlor.
But his cunning plan was foiled after security cameras quickly pinpointed who had carried out the car arson.

The spoiled child said that a car dealer advised him to commit insurance fraud, and he developed a plan for his friends to torch the car. The master plan was exposed by cameras that revealed who did the crime.
The 20-year-old told the court his funds had run dry by the time of the incident and was not brave enough to tell his father he did not like the Ferrari.
He was sentenced to 22 months' probation and fined some $32,000.
I'd set that spoiled cunt on fire, for burning down such a car... :/
such a pathetic human being, I despise those stupid spoiled rich kids who still think money grows on trees.
That's painful to look at.
Seriously? Because it was too old? At most it was 6 years old.
Worst part is, it would've eventually caught itself on fire anyway.
Spoiled little shit, do you know how many people want a shitty beat up Ferrari? It probably wasn't even in bad shape at all.
no
why does it have to be this way
What a cunt
Putting "spoiled" in the title is unneeded; It's subjective whether or not he was spoiled.

Explain to me how this kid isn't spoiled for torching a fucking Ferrari just to get a new one.
It's still interesting to me how the dealership actually gave him the idea and was in on the whole thing.
Wow, I wish I could afford a car period. How could his funds even run dry?
Putting "spoiled" in the title is unneeded; It's subjective whether or not he was spoiled.
There's nothing subjective here. Damaging something on purpose to get something else is spoiled as fuck.

only subjective thing is u subjecting us to ur posts
You can have rich parents that give you nice expensive things and not be spoiled as long as you're still humble, polite, and recognize your situation is rare and unique, but torching a Ferrari your father gave you so you can get a new one is definitely spoiled.

The purpose of spreading news is about spreading factual logic without bias or to be more specific in this case, subjective adjectives.

Car salesmen aren't known for their nobility.
Wow, I wish I could afford a car period. How could his funds even run dry?
People who are handed money they didn't earn often have no clue how to manage money, and end up racking up debts they cannot pay.
I think the person is spoiled, but the news shouldn't be spread with my subjective opinion.

Unneeded, perhaps, but don't pretend this kid isn't a spoiled little shit.
Annnnnnd fuck rich people.
Such a waste of a nice care.

But it gets worse - the fucker has 14, FOURTEEN other sportscars in his garage (source in French).
You have to see it from his side: "but daaaaad, I want the new Ferrari!!! This one is OLD and it SUCKS!!!"

Please don't assume I share the same opinion as you. (I'm not trying to be offense, I know it's hard to read emotions behind a computer screen)
that car cost more than 4 years of college, rent, and food...........
fucking prick

ask any average person about this, and they'll tell you that torching your car to get a new one is spoiled by anybody's standards, even most sensible rich peoples'. So it doesn't really matter whether or not we're arguing about semantics in a case like this, because the action itself was selfish and only a spoiled brat with no idea of the value of money, could even contemplate such a stupid thing.
It's still interesting to me how the dealership actually gave him the idea and was in on the whole thing.
It doesn't say if someone at an official Ferrari dealership told him that... because if that's the case, those dudes are currently in a world of hurt. Ferrari does *not* fuck around with their public image.
And as for this kid... chances are he and his dad are banned from purchasing any newer or used Ferrari models (since Ferrari also keeps track of their used models and who purchases them). So this was his first and probably last Ferrari he owned, no amount of money can change that.
He burned a car that is worth more then most people make in their lives, what a fucking tool.

What are you even trying to do. Should we just have robots writing the news?
reminds me of those tweets a few years ago full of spoiled kids who didn't get exactly what they wanted
this takes it to the next level though
I think the person is spoiled, but the news shouldn't be spread with my subjective opinion.
it's pretty objective that he's a spoiled shit.
