I'm almost convinced that I can not cut fat. I've been on a diet for almost 3 months now, eating 1400 calories a day when I'm not active, and more when I am.
I walk 40 minutes a day to and from school, and then for another hour or so when with friends, I lowered my Soda intake quite a bit, and when I do drink soda, it's diet, I went to skim milk as well.
I Jog every so often.
I've gone from 36 inches around the belly to about 35, and went from a size 33, to 32.
That was 3 months of this.
I was about 165 when I started, now I'm 153, but the visual differences are very little.
What am I doing wrong?
I also work a Grocery store job 15-20 hours a week, always on the move.

brah, as long as you are noticing results, you are doing it right
the results may not always be visual, you are probably losing fat from spots you don't even notice, like your neck, thighs, glutes, etc.
also, what kind of foods are you eating?
[editline]13th March 2011[/editline]
also PLEASE post stuff like this in the weightlifting bodybuilding thread :3 plz
whats your diet like
Morning: High Fibre cereal, skim milk. And Water.
Lunch, Rye Bread, Honey ham, cheddar cheese, and Margerine.
Apple,
Granola bar
And more Water.
Dinner: My Mom makes dinner, no TV dinners or shit like that, usually home made everything, salads, with some breaded chicken and eggs. It varies every week. I've been counting my calories every single day for the past 3 months, The average intake of calories is about 1450.

I can see my collar bone for the first time in my life, and my thigh and back of lower legs feel much more solid, my ass and my belly seem to be the same, arms seem to be ALOT more solid then they were before, Maybe I'm just not noticing it.

okay well then you are counting incorrectly sorry but that`s the truth
they did a whole documentary on overweight people, they said they had high metabolisms, couldn`t lose weight no matter what, were eating 1500 a day, etc.
they made them write down everything they ate, still, it came to 1500 calories
they did piss tests on them everyday and almost everyday every single overweight person was actually consuming like 2500-3000
what you need to understand is the things you eat at the end of the day, like breaded chicken and eggs is like 1000 calories by itself, along with pasta or potatoes that`s like 1500-2000 just for that meal in total
rye bread=100 calories per slice, 200 calories of that + around 200-300 calories ham and the cheese slice is 100 by itself , granola bar is 100
that makes 700 calories for lunch alone
point is, just count better, and eat less carbohydrates

What? I use Livestrong.com, I read and measure everything I eat, My carbs are usually 93% of what I'm supposed to get, and my fat intake 45 grams a day, some times less sometimes more, The kind of Rye bread I eat is 60 calories a slice. I only use a single slice of ham, and abour 3 very thin slices of cheddar cheese on my sandwhich.

sure, but there is no surefire way to figure out how much a breaded chicken is unless you do it in a lab yourself, it depends on the amount of oil, bread and chicken used, you can have anywhere up to 500 calorie difference from one recipe to another
also, have less carbs
