It took me two weeks to finish this. Made completely in "The Lost and Damned" free mode. Special thanks to Rockstar for providing such an awesome video editor with a fantastic game. *Cast* The Nazi - HappyCompy Jimmy Eagle - Warfr3nzy BRod - HappyCompy/Amos106 Big Wong - MrAnqry Amos106- himself Lutcikaur(grenade launcher) - himself Danny Sweets - Amos106 Mac the Bartender - Madmac Jr All music is by Kevin MacLeod and Stuart Hart
That was very well made, I enjoyed it.
Awesome, first non-comedic GTA IV video I've seen in a long while.
Wow, thanks for the feedback.
I liked it. You should make more. I am clearly NOT Mac the Bartender.
I enjoyed that.
That was pretty awesome. Having 'thanks for watching' at the end kind of cheapens it though.
Well done. Nice camerawork and a plot that actually piqued my interest. I couldn't help but laugh at the slow-mo [sp]falling of the dead, fat AoH president[/sp] at the end. :v: [editline]24th January 2011[/editline] Did you use Simple Trainer?
Honesty i thought it was bad. I couldn't get into it at all. Not shit all over it though, i can see you put plenty of effort into it, i just did not like it. I noticed way too many mistake with the camera work, most of the time it was really just what you chose to highlight, example being when the gang was riding to the casino, you chose an angle highlighting one of the riders as he was turning. GTA does not have smooth animations for that and it just looks sudden and jittery. You cut into other scenes way too suddenly at times too, when the hitman came into the bar, i had no idea what was going on at all, some guy literally ran into a bar with a gun and got shot at. You also need to deviate from the TLAD theme, you used it too much and at most times you cut it short without easing out or fading out from it. I see you were aiming for an epic scene of the bikers riding down the street but use some other music, TLAD provides plenty of music just for the purpose. [editline]24th January 2011[/editline] Another example of the bad angles chosen would have to be when Wong and Jimmy Eagle were getting onto just one bike after the other was destroyed. The angle chosen showcased GTA's laggy and bad animations in MP, where when he was getting on the bike: He staggers around a bit, runs forward, stops, then teleports to the back of the bike. I understand that this is from the game itself but you could have done a tad better job with the camera work in order to hide it.
Vocals were a bit too quiet in context of the overall sound of the film. Boost the dB a bit more on the voiceover and lower the music just a tad bit and you'll be golden. Also, one major annoyance for me was the buzzing on your mic, but I don't think you could've fixed that. Aside from some choppy camera angles and some lag (as permissible by any game), it was good.

It's amazing.
Honesty i thought it was bad. I couldn't get into it at all. Not shit all over it though, i can see you put plenty of effort into it, i just did not like it. I figure when you watch a machinima, you have to accept that there will be occasional animation glitches, lag, etc. If I cut out the scenes that feature these glitches, I'd be cutting out important scenes. These are generally not things I can avoid, I do agree with you about the camera angles to an extent, there's always room for me to improve, but the GTAIV video editor isn't the most perfect thing around. Driving scenes are especially hard to do because the editor's "blend" function doesn't offer as seamless of a transition between angles as I would like. I can't complain though, because most games don't even feature any machinima tools, and the one Rockstar gave us isn't that bad, in fact, it's pretty damn good. The cutting away suddenly from the TLAD music was a stylistic choice as the scene switched from the Hell Raisers to the the Angels of Death. It is a recurring theme for the Hell Raisers throughout the video. It's first heard when Big Wong gets his new bike, then it suddenly cuts away when it switches to the Angles of Death scene at their clubhouse, then suddenly comes back on when the scene switches back to the Hell Raisers riding. It comes up later when they're riding to the casino as well. It's a theme bro. Also, I can't just use "other music" because most of it is copyrighted and I will get my balls chopped off and fed to me by WMG/Sony/UNG, etc.
Vocals were a bit too quiet in context of the overall sound of the film. I didn't mean for you to cut out parts entirely, what I did mean is that you should have "camoflauged" them into the scene. Also, wmg bmg should not cut the music content on gtas, I know that its happened before, but seeing as the game gives you the option itself to use the music knowing the videos are going to be uploaded online with fair use, its just dumb that they still block it.
