Easter is a biblical time. So why do Atheist celebrate easter? Does that not contradict the fact you don't believe in god?

I celebrate easter because it's fun, I love easter eggs. Doesn't mean I believe in God, I know that's what it's based off, but just because I don't believe in God doesn't mean I can't eat easter eggs.
I'm atheist and I celebrate christmas and easter, but the reason most atheists celebrat those holidays it's the family - happy factor not the religious thing.
