I'm doing French as part of my GCSE, I've been doing it for like four years and I'm still pretty much completely useless. So i was wondering if you could all put some input into my first draft, heres what i have so far:
Bonjour ! Je m’appelle Joe et j’adore les grandes vacances. L’été dernier je suis alle a la France avec mon famille. Nous sommes resté pour une semaine.
Je suis allé en vacances au France en avion, le vol était confortable et le film était bon. Apres atterrissage à Paris. Nous avons voyagé en voiture à Orléans. Quand nous sommes arrivés il était sept heures et il faisait toujours tout a fait chaud et il était très ensoleillé. J’apprécie mes vacances ici pendant que je vais chaque année. Nous avons alors voyagé en taxi a l’hôtel. Nous sommes arrivés a huit heure l’hôtel était très grand et a eau deux piscines. Apres avoir signé je suis allé dormir parce que j’étais fatigué. Le jour suivant nous sommes allés a la plage, moi et mon ami sommes allés a la pêche, mais nous n’avons pal péché aucun poisson. Apres nous avons mangé pizza et frites. La plage était très occupé et très chaud. Nous avons alors voyagé en car à l’hôtel. Nous avons décidé d’aller en ville a huit heures. Nous avons alors voyagé aux magasins. J’ai décidé d’aller à musée et j’ai dépensé tout mon argent. J’ai acheté souvenirs et un chocolat pour mes copains.
I've still got to add future and past and I'm just confusing myself thinking about it. Any help would be much appreciated on anything wrong with what I have written and with what i have left to write. :biggrin:

It's "je suis allé" and "Nous sommes restés"
Every Verb in "passé composé" that's conjugated with "être" must be the same with the Person, not so with "avoir"
Nous = Plural, so resté[b]s[/b]
Another example: Elle, féminin resté[b]e[/b]

It's pretty good for a foreigner (the meaning of your sentences is completely understandable despite your mistakes), it's much more better than the usual language rape I see

Je préfère les vacances sportives parce que j’aime rester en forme et j’aime être actif. Pour moi, c’est égal si je passe mes vacances dans un pays chaud ou quelque’où où il fait froid. Pourvu que je puisse être actif. Je m’ennuis facilement si je ne fais que me bronzer à la plage.
This would be a good opener, I do French GCSE, will probably get an A*, it has a subjunctive tense which isn't used at GCSE, will look impressive. This also uses the present so would make a good beggining.
