I need help with my room! AKA oh my God this is the worst room ever! - General

I grew tired of my old setup, which consisted of hot wheels car from when I was a little boy and car posters, oh boy, shit was awful. So I decided to throw (aka keep it on top of my wardrobe) them away and start a new one! Thing is, I'm quite uncertain of how I can proceed with this. What should I do with them? I think that putting the two rockstar ones on the same wall would be weird, taking into account that it would be 2 girls from a game, it'd be kinda creepy. Maybe try moving the bed where your wardrobe is. I don't know if it's just because I'm used to my room's setup, but I don't like opening the door and bumping into a bed. I do, however, think that two maps together would look awful. Maybe you should try putting the two rockstar girls on the same wall, with another poster in the middle, either the akira one or the one with the mafia 2 thing. Room is pretty freaking miniscule... I dont know how to help you. I was going to suggest you get a shabby clothing rack and put your clothes on that, but you probably put your tv in there? Unless you can buy yourself a flat screen to put on the wall and maybe get paint/stick on wallpaper to make your room look a bit bigger and complimentary?

The maps look pretty meh, try rasterbating - [img]http://i.cubeupload.com/pFym9P.jpg[/img] I made the print using the downloadable executable and then added color by cutting open highlighter tubes and applying the ink with crumpled newspaper and various materials. Depending on how creative you get, you can get a wide range of effects using different colors and mediums (I like watercolor dilute, marker ink tubes, and highlighters for the job).

I would pant/wallpaper the walls, plain white makes it look like an asylum. I would recommend getting some new colored window blinds too. Also maybe consider investing in some high quality posters and frame them, so you do not have all those creases.

imptastick, that's a great idea, I think I'm gonna paint the wall where the bed is. I'm thinking about red or something. I also thought about framing three QR codes, would that look bad? One thing I did with my posters/frames was do them at differing heights. Angling upwards/downwards in one direction: [img]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-BK3tfhDk0kc/TdNejiJ3W4I/AAAAAAAAAGE/HqmDp5gc_u4/s1600/bat.png[/img] All that's important is making the pictures look like they are taking up more of your wall than they actually are. So unless they are huge paintings with framing, do not lay them out side by side.

I think his QR codes look just fine in a row the more I look at it. Although I will use some of your advice on pictures next time I rearrange my wall.
