In recent days, the White House has announced that it will impose tariffs on Canadian lumber and asserted that Canada has treated the American dairy industry unfairly. It was not clear what the language of the executive order would be, or what steps would come next. But an executive order could start a required six-month notification period for withdrawal, during which time talks on renegotiation could be pursued.
cant wait for the eu to become canada's no. 1 trading partner
Mexico better get on that corn deal with South America, seems like Trump wants to give them an intentionally bad deal.
cant wait for the eu to become canada's no. 1 trading partner
Doubt that will happen considering 74% of Canada's exports are to the US, followed by China and Japan. NAFTA or not, that trade will continue to happen.
honestly im starting to believe its time to ditch the US they keep dragging everyone down around them, and we put up with them
Yes, please provide us with detailed facts and and a thought out plan on how Canada can do that. By all means, enlighten us with your divine wisdom.
We will build a wall, the biggest and best wall, not like other walls, it will be a very yuge wall made from ice and snow and you're going to pay for it.

can't wait for the economic recession and unemployment since my industry relies heavily on international customers!

Were not going to leave NAFTA. (The article has updated)

I don't recall Trump even campaigning about withdrawing from NAFTA, or any trade deal for that matter beyond the TPP. Everything he talked about was "renegotiating", not withdrawing.
honestly im starting to believe its time to ditch the republicans they keep dragging everyone down around them, and we put up with them

Yes, we'll suffer from it, but so will the US.
