Oh God. Now I'm excited.
Halo had so many haters before CoD got popular...
Holy SHIT [editline]13th September 2012[/editline]
Halo had so many haters before CoD got popular...
The FP Hatewagon for Halo was worse than CoD's iirc
i still dont understand how they make games on a computer but only make it for xbox
Holy SHIT [editline]13th September 2012[/editline] The FP Hatewagon for Halo was worse than CoD's iirc
I've never understood all of the FP hate. Halo is one of my favorite game series.
i still dont understand how they make games on a computer but only make it for xbox
Maybe because Microsoft owns the franchise and wants to promote sales of their system by releasing anticipated games for it only?
i still dont understand how they make games on a computer but only make it for xbox
To sell Xbox Consoles. Or maybe the development of a game on a console is much different to on a PC. I don't know.
I've never understood all of the FP hate. Halo is one of my favorite game series.
There isn't really FP hate anymore, anytime anything criticizing Halo is posted, that poster is insta-raped. That being said, I think Halo is okay. It wasn't as good back in the day because back then, it was pretty generic. But now that everything has changed to "grey-brown realistic gritty war game made of cutscenes" it is certainly very refreshing. Plus, more effort was put into the story over time (Though ODST and Reach had some pretty flat characters, so I don't know. Especially because [sp]Sgt. Johnson, my favorite character, is dead. I almost fucking cried man[/sp])
Guys, I wouldn't count out the return of Halo to the PC quite yet. 343 Industries has hinted at the possibility in an unofficial capacity on several occasions. Several Windows 8 and laptop marketing ads featuring Halo 4, and a few trailers saying "System requirements pending". I'm not saying it will happen, but the possibility exists :D [editline]13th September 2012[/editline]
There isn't really FP hate anymore, anytime anything criticizing Halo is posted, that poster is insta-raped.
That's only true if such criticizer is wrong, or just being stupid about something. :P
So what happened to Johnson and a few other people having forerunner blood? Last time I went outside people did NOT look like that!

Just like Halo 2 and Vista.
I still can't get over the smiley face on Master Chiefs butt.
So what happened to Johnson and a few other people having forerunner blood? Last time I went outside people did NOT look like that!
I think that and the hints about us being forerunner creations or related to them I can't really remember were retconn'd with the new Forerunner books. (oh and it was Master Chief who was said to be a forerunner descendent not Sgt. Johnson).
That's only true if such criticizer is wrong, or just being stupid about something. :P
Um, there is no such thing as wrong when it comes to opinions my friend.
Um, there is no such thing as wrong when it comes to opinions my friend.
Of course there is, when an opinion is based off false information and or ignorance. Great example is this. http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1209651&p=37525648&viewfull=1#post37525648 Or almost all of what SpartanXC9 says in the Halo thread when it comes to his opinion on things.
I could say hitler was a great guy because he joined the allies to stop the nazis in WWII but that's completely false info so my opinion is false!
But they used Johnson to try and activate the Halo arrays in Halo 3.
Yeah but that was because he was human and forerunner tech is also programmed for human use.
Yeah but that was because he was human and forerunner tech is also programmed for human use.
It's speculated Johnson was a spartan 1... As far as I'm aware only people with certain genetic makeups could be used in spartan projects, spartan 1 ans 2's I mean. Coincidentally those genetic traits also make them linked with forerunners? Also Guilty Spark acknowledged chief as a reclaimer, but not any standard marine! Edit: Now that I think about it, the flood only takes over beings with enough biomass and central nervous functionality. Maybe in the time line the forunners made humans as some idiot monkey to evolve and return to their space stations after the flood starved out? Maybe i'm years late!
I could say hitler was a great guy because he joined the allies to stop the nazis in WWII but that's completely false info so my opinion is false!
When it comes to opinions Debating scientific fact is different. That can be true or false, and proven as such.
The Prometheans are cool, even more so than the Covenant.
When it comes to opinions Debating scientific fact is different. That can be true or false, and proven as such.
you can't scientifically prove someone is a good or bad person that's kind of one of the things science has failed to explain to us.
That forerunner chant sounds awesome. The way the set up the death of the knights is cool too.
Those weapons. Oh god...
This has me quite excited. I'm going to buy another xbox (sold mine last year).
Holy fuck. I haven't been this excited for a game since... I don't even know. I'm so fucking psyched.
Did I just see a Jackal in UNSC armor I've been kind of out of the loop for halo 4 but holy fuck proper human/covenant alliances was the one thing I wanted to see out of Halo 3 and shit. Color me excited
Oh boy, jumpy fast wall-crawling aliens, everyone's favorite enemy type.
