Just got Pro Tools M Powered, and I have the Axiom Pro 25 MIDI but I keep getting an error that it does not detect M Audio hardware. Does anyone know how to fix this?
That software needs a certain line of M-Audio products in order for it to work. I'm going to assume you were hoping that your keyboard would allow to use that version of pro tools, but I don't believe it does (could be wrong). As far as I'm aware, it's mostly audio interfaces like the fast track pro. If you have the required hardware and you can use the program, just not the keyboard 1. Install keyboard drivers 2. Check connection 3. Check if it can be used in other daws
Finally got this thing to work. Thanks for he help. One more question.....is there a way to loop the selected area in Pro Tools so I can record something like a high hat and then have it loop back to the beginning to add a snare and then a bass drum the next time around?
On the version I have used, it would record over that section, no parts over lapping, but that was version 8, and I'm not sure what features you have. The best thing to do would be to just slowly record them on separate tracks, that way you can have more control in the mix and easier to fix any mistakes.
Yeah I guess that works. I found a loop playback option I was using and as long as loop record is off I think it does the feature I needed
