Any music with a bar or something that repeats too many times and sounds kind of uncanny. A lot of rap beats sound like this if you just listen to the sample and nothing else.

I haven't had a "bad trip" yet, but I have had a pretty scary (not bad) trip. And at the end of it I had to go to work whilst on the tail end of that trip, still seeing slight patterns in some things. Lets just say, I don't like the knives at work anymore. Didn't hurt myself with them, just that every time I needed to use one I'd pick it up and have a mental image of all the things that could've gone wrong at any second. And that happened for about 4 days afterwards, just every time I needed to use those knives to cut things like watermelon and stuff.

Also, my worst trips always involve hallucinogens. Shrooms and acid both made me feel like I was disconnected with my body and mind, and just generally empty. I really hated it, and I never felt any hallucinogenic effects, just an overwhelming feeling of disconnect with reality.
hallucinogenics are all about looking inward not outward, so when you feel those feelings of disconnect with one's self you must look deeper into what makes you a person, what exactly makes you a real human being. the hallucinogenic experience is all about one's self and your ability to craft creations of unworldly items in the world, i suggest next time you trip trip by yourself and begin a trip inward towards your soul

That's what I felt like doing. I kept taking "breaks" to be alone in the bedroom so I felt more comfortable. But the environment I dosed in was strange; my friends had all tripped multiple times before and just sat around all night in complete silence and darkness, save for a light toy that made weird patterns with string/light tricks. I think the complete sensory deprivation made it more uncomfortable than I was expecting.
