Badass 9 year old takes the wheel after mom goes unconscious - Polidicks

[release][b]GRIMSBY, Ont. - A nine-year-old boy tried to save his mother's life by guiding her car off a busy highway in southern Ontario after she went into medical distress. On Saturday morning the 43-year-old Campbellville, Ont., woman was driving eastbound on the Queen Elizabeth Way highway near Grimsby when she lost consciousness. The car accelerated, but the woman's young son turned off the ignition and guided the vehicle to the shoulder of the road and into the ditch. Another driver stopped and called for an ambulance. The woman was transported to Hamilton General Hospital where she died Sunday afternoon.[/b][/release] Unfortunately his mom still died.. nice try though kid. That's pretty horrible actually. If he remembers trying to save his mom and failing, it's gonna take a lot of counseling to convince him it wasn't his fault. That leaves a trauma, you know. Poor kid.

he's 9 he's gonna remember something like that.
