Reason number 9: EA is the publisher That's more of a reason why not to buy it.
Yes you do, it has monthly fees.

Considering trying it now.
Well fuck, i wont get it then.
Meh, I don't know why you sound so surprised. The majority of MMOs these days have monthly fees.
Sorry, i know graphics isn't everything, but why does it look like it's being played on a PS2?
Looks like Guild Wars is still the only acceptable MMO.
Guild Wars is an MMO?
Guild Wars is an MMO?
no its an fps
Personally, it's too instanced to a MMO.
Personally, it's too instanced to a MMO.
yeah it is an rpg with all the players playing in one big world using skills to beat NPC monsters and enemies, unlike those MMOs, which are rpgs with all the players playing in one big world using skills to beat NPC monsters and enemies.
Sorry, i know graphics isn't everything, but why does it look like it's being played on a PS2?
I think they're taking it WoW style so that everyone can enjoy it (Like me with my crappy computer :saddowns:)
I think they're taking it WoW style so that everyone can enjoy it (Like me with my crappy computer :saddowns:)
Indeed they are, they want to have a wide range of computers from shitty to high end, so many people can play.
This may be the first time I shell out some monthly cash for an MMO
yeah it is an rpg with all the players playing in one big world using skills to beat NPC monsters and enemies, unlike those MMOs, which are rpgs with all the players playing in one big world using skills to beat NPC monsters and enemies.
True MMOs are persistant. Guild Wars is not.
Sorry, i know graphics isn't everything, but why does it look like it's being played on a PS2?
I still dislike the fact that it looks like it could be a Clone Wars MMO with just a name change.
I enjoyed Star Wars Galaxies but I don't think I'd like this.
True MMOs are persistant. Guild Wars is not.
Phew what a relief now I can call the entire genre shit.
A friend of mine is in the beta, and he said it's fantastic fun to play. I'm surprised he hasn't posted here yet actually.
Phew what a relief now I can call the entire genre shit.
Oh come on, you can't deny that this and GW2 are bringing something unique to the table!
Oh come on, you can't deny that this and GW2 are bringing something unique to the table!
yeah putting 2 cherries on top a pile of shit definitely makes the pile of shit better!
Oh come on, you can't deny that this and GW2 are bringing something unique to the table!
But I thought you said Guild Wars isn't an MMO.
yeah putting 2 cherries on top a pile of shit definitely makes the pile of shit better!
Your ignorance is kinda refreshing!
But I thought you said Guild Wars isn't an MMO.
It isn't
Your ignorance is kinda refreshing!
i just stated my opinion
I'd like to believe The Old Republic will be a good game but everything shown has only dampened my attitude towards it.
Im not too hyped about this since I heard the space combat is really bad.!
Wow, in number one, one of his party members name is "fetto" wich is pretty much "fatty" in swedish...
It isn't
Well if it isn't then it isn't bringing anything unique to the table because it has its own table. As for SWTOR it looks like a dumbed down KOTOR in multiplayer with cartoony graphics and a subscription based model.
