What a load. This is about as disappointing as the Cpt. America shield he made, that wobbly, warped hunk of crap. Seriously, you want to make a REAL weapon out of it, and you make it HOLLOW? This thing should have been machined from a solid hunk of steel, not made of a couple flimsy folded panels. Anyone else get the feeling he just doesn't give a shit about the Avengers? There's a theme forming here...
yeah cos a solid block of steel wouldn't be heavy as fuck to sling around

Saw the title and hoped he was making MJOLNIR armor from halo.
did you miss the part where he said if it weren't hollow it would have weighed 200 pounds?
Not on the whole "how dare it be hollow" train, but it woulda been cool to see the 200lbs version. I mean, they made that Buster Sword that was too heavy to swing normally. Oh well. I'm dumb because I commented before the video was over. I like the filling it with extra weight part. :v:

It'd actually be funny to see a strongman heave it around with such strain. :v:
they filled it up with lead balls anyways, so its still heavy

I thought the whole "upping the weight at the showroom" idea would be pretty fucking amusing.

Imagine a trying to carry a propane tank (which normally weighs 40 pounds when full) that weighs 250 pounds.
Didn't use the core of a star as mold 0/10

However they are made purely for aesthetic purposes and nothing else, also a hammer the size of that would be rediculous, i mean you wouldn't even be able to lift the damn thing. Which is why he made it hollow.
I agree that many of his weapons are kinda shoddy, and that most would probably shatter in a fight.
Thats because all the weapons he's making have absolutely awful designs.

I mean holy shit how can a person be this dense?
Thats because all the weapons he's making have absolutely awful designs.
this, you can't expect fiction weapons to function
*in my opinion
No, a hammer with so much weight with such a short handle isn't going to perform well at all, a buster sword thats 6 feet long and weights 100+ pounds is going to be impossible to wield, and that blade from bleach is going to be way to thin to not severely damage itself in an actual fight. The only viable weapons he's made are the ones that are just basic swords with flashy hilts, like the zelda blade and the one from Game of Thrones, and those are still going to underperform blades which historically worked.

Why bitch about functionality? The dude's making purely fictional weapons the closest he can realistically get them. Just be happy they look good.

I totally agree with you that there is no way in hell any of his weapons are going to hold up in a real fight.

Literally Hitler.
If he made it realistic, he wouldn't be able to use it, because only thor can use it :v:
Saw the title and hoped he was making MJOLNIR armor from halo.
Same... I was really dissapointed

I want to see any of the monster hunter weapons. I bet any normal person will give up in such a over the top weapon.
Big ole bird named Beta Ray Bill got to use it.
Not just him
*in my opinion
It's pretty much fact that none of these weapons could ever work as actual pieces of weaponry because of the sheer exaggeration of the design. It has nothing to do with opinions, it's quite well established.
