Feel that this was a professional look at the game and its development, didn't know about that spaceship dogfight concept art before.

What's with all the dumbs? Skip to 36:05 to get to the point then if you don't want to bother with the video length.
i think people are just tired of all the nms videos

Then why go into a thread about a nms video
Controversy over NMS has replaced Pokemon Go as the go-to clickbait already.
What has this Internet become?
I'm not saying TB is clickbait, but tons of low-tier streamers/YTers/bloggers are and the saturation is real.
He talks about the hype and reaction of NMS from the first reveal which is one reason it's so long. It's a pretty good dissection of the whole hype train from the beginning.
Maybe if people want to stop hyping things up they should stop giving them so much attention and media coverage.

Skip and you miss the entire point about genre desperation, which is a huge fucking deal regarding this game in particular.

I feel like the reason why we see so many repeats are that every large youtuber has an audience and they know that people will go/follow them to see what they specifically have to say. So you get all of these same topic videos. A game release like this is similar to news, your newspaper is gonna report on the story just like everyone else but with their own style/twist.
Not exactly related to Totalbiscuit's commentary, but from watching the video, NMS seems to have this thing going on where there's absolutely no sense of scale in any of its environments. Everything just seems a little off. It's almost as if there's no depth perception.
Whatever it is, it bothers me.

It's like the player and the ship are the same size. But it's also more than that. Argh.
