are they twelve? why pinball wtf
Because pinball machines are awesome?
It's business. It's appealing to a larger demographic Get over it.
Imagine being so retarded you think a cartoon woman on a pinball machine is sexist.
Oh my god... yes this is such an important issue. "Intimidating" men attending an event intimidates you? You even said they were all nice but it "Intimidated" you also: "They are competing with other men for the women on the machine" :speechless:
I like how completely dismissive that store owner guy is Like he can't even conceive of anyone ever caring about something this trivial and meanwhile there's this super serious music in the background
ghostbusters pinball announcement came out today
Alright watched the entire thing. I did not like this video at all because it didn't really touch sexism that much. It was a documentary about how some women felt uncomfortable around men so they started a women's only pinball group, which is fine if you have the right motive. There was nothing in this video that implied there's a huge problem with sexism in the pinball community that doesn't exist in other places. 10% of the video talked about arguable sexism (ie scantily clad women on pinball machines), 5% talked about actual sexism (ie people going WAAAH WOMAN ON MY TEAM = WE LOST) and the rest of the video just talked about how good they all felt making a woman's only pinball group. This video benefits no one and really only gives idiots that scream "FEMINIST PROPAGANDA" a wet feeling in their pants for supporting their narrative that there is no such thing as sexism.

Whom many of these self proclaimed "feminists" like to hide themselves from under the guise of "inter-sectionalism", the concept of which they tend to ignore the second it becomes inconvenient. edit: Obviously not to say that all feminists are like this, but many of these first world new-feminism types are. Traditional feminists (1st-2nd wave) tend to have pretty great opinions on more modern topics, but they're a shrinking group among activists.
Is it a coincidence that the (imo) ugly people complain about these invisible problems? Not that it's always true but low self esteem seems to be a part in this kinda stuff.
Honestly it's a little too late to cry about sexism in pinball. Companies don't use that much T&A anymore since people nowadays are drawn in through whatever license is on the table. But even then a smidgen wouldn't hurt to help earn profits.
So is sexism true of any male prominent activity? I agree the blatant stuff was stupid where guys judged them right away based on them being women, but the rest was not that bad. It seems to be the same thing in computer programming. Fill a room full of nerdy men and a common interest, and most women would find it "intimidating" to get involved. So, assuming that that is a real phenomenon, then perhaps women's only groups are good for creating a way for them to feel good about penetrating the community. I don't know. I'm a guy, so I've never had the experience of walking into a room and feeling intimidated for that reason. Though, I could perhaps imagine such a case where it is a woman dominated activity, and I enter the gathering by myself. Though, perhaps, this is just a thing with any gathering where you don't know people. Perhaps this is just social anxiety. IDK
Chick talks about how men tell her it's "sexy" that she knows how to fix a Pinball machine and says they wouldn't say that other guys, no shit? Those men probably aren't homosexuals and find a woman with a common trait appealing. The fuck is wrong with that?
I mean, no one complains about all the muscular men on these machines or in video games. It's fantasy, should we start mimicking real life America and have overweight white middle aged people on everything?
these autistic shits are aware that almost nobody plays competitively, right? also, muscle dudes slapped the fuck up on the machines, how is that any different [editline]11th March 2016[/editline]
Chick talks about how men tell her it's "sexy" that she knows how to fix a Pinball machine and says they wouldn't say that other guys, no shit? There's not even a respectful way to represent them, it's either objectifying or making fun of.
lol the woman who said men don't get told they are sexy for fixing things is full of shit.
First the sexist emoji's and now pinball. When will women be safe.
