Yes, because plants obviously have a use for circuit paths so large they would fit in the original fucking computers.

I guess the gist is *everything* organic turned synthetic... it doesn't really state if it's part-synthetic or practically Geth, but plants still extract energy like humans (et al) do they just use sunlight, nutrients from the ground and water as opposed to pr0n, cheetos and diet coke.
