Hey bros need some tips.
Recently my workouts have been suffering tremendously from me just not having enough energy to get all the way through a workout. I'm eating enough (250g+ carbs before lifts), getting more than enough sleep (9 hours) and taking pre-workout supplements (Kryptonite). So, what else is there for me to do to get more energy to make it through a workout without feeling like I need to stop? Because I'm fucking tired of plateauing in all areas besides my legs which continue to make my upper body look like shit.
As for my routine, it goes something like this and I workout sometime between 3pm-4pm on these days:
Mon/Tues- Shoulders/Delts
Tues/Wed-Back/Bis
Wed/Thur-Legs/Calves
Thur/Fri- Chest?tris
I have 3 days off in a row for recovery. Either Friday/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon. Help me get the gains I want.
Take a week off if you haven't recently or deload.
Nah, just fight through it. Just know what you have to do and do it. That's all there is. Everyone goes through this as a beginner.
you're overtraining :)

don't work out more than 2 days in a row

take 1 day off, and if you feel sluggish take 2 at times, between the 2 working out days
Good to know blah. I'm going to finish out the week then I'll split the days with a rest in between and see if that helps.

Sounds like what i have when i workout to much.
I just get EXTREMELY tired.
I fix it just by taking a break for a few days. A workout where you can perform the best instead of halfassed workouts are better imo.
I agree with the rest days but I bet y'all diets need more fat in it the day prior to lift days too.
Try a homemade pre-workout. Just mix coffee powder and pepsi, once you get used to the taste it is a really good pre-workout
hyphy mud, you mean

i can confirm it tastes ok although my resistance is too high to get a gr8 kick out of it
Holy crap, way to revive a dead thread. Anyways, found out about waxy maize dextrose. Works amazingly. Take a scoop pre-workout and one throughout workout, energy levels never sink.
