How is it illegal if its in a public place?
[sarcas]because they're muslims and anything muslims do is illegal, sinful and wrong.. all muslims should be executed for their usually pacifist ways because they are rag head evil satanworshippers [/sarcasm]
Fuck that's gotta be unnerving walking down the path with everybody there.

What they forget is that French government does not finance any religion or religious builiding whatsoever.
It's not illegal to pray but I swear you cannot legally block a public road?
I'd ram all them down with a car.
Not saying I hate muslims but filling up a street in another country is just asking for it.
let them pray in the sewers.

Wouldn't be suprised if a bus rammed them all
what muslims think of everyone in the world who isn't a muslim:
[sarcas]because they're infidels and anything infidels do is illegal, sinful and wrong.. all infidels should be executed for their usually pacifist ways because they are evil satanworshippers [/sarcasm]
they're not in another country though, they're French
they're not in another country though, they're French
So if they're French, then they should act French. I know I'm going to receive boxes for this, but immigrants that want to practice their customs in public should stay in their own country (culture exercised within closed doors is another matter though). I can guarantee you that the area those people reside in will eventually become more and more Arab-ized, eventually leading to a large schism between the Muslim and French communities. At that point, that area might as well become another Little Arabia, which kind of nullifies the purpose of living in a foreign country in the first place.
I criticize these people not because of any inherently evil traits that they may possess solely because they happen to be Muslim or Arab in particular, but because of the fact that any large group of people who are brought to another country whose culture differs vastly from theirs, will receive some degree of trouble sometime in the future unless they are assimilated quickly.
So if they're French, then they should act French.
No.

You could apply that argument to any culture, religion, or people.
Those Jews, blacks, Muslims, gypsies, Mexicans, should stay in their own country/community/area. I can guarantee you that the area those people reside in will eventually become more (insert hated people here)-ized, eventually leading to a large schism between (insert hated people here) and (the setting) communities. At that point, the area might as well become another little (insert hated people here) which kind of nullifies the purpose of living in a foreign/different country in the first place.
I criticize these people not because of themselves individually, but because their way of life is evil and different and people who are different are obviously going to be evil.
You are a bigot, and your argument is not sound since all it is is spreading intolerance.

By which you mean not breaking the law? No shit sherlock.

That was one of the points that I made before. I don't find problems with Muslims especially, just all foreigners who happen to, and I strongly emphasize this, don't assimilate into the country they currently reside in. I don't find other cultures "evil," just different. And sometimes they're incompatible with our own. If foreigners are willing to adopt the culture of whatever country they currently reside in, I'm all for accepting them. I myself would feel iffy if I was a Christian that was holding a large religious exhibition out in the middle of a city street that was in a predominantly Muslim country.
That wouldn't be annoying at all.
religion = war
they're not in another country though, they're French
But what country are you from?

So basically you can't do anything public concerning your cultural backgrounds if you live in a foreign country?
That's not oppressing rights at all...
Get the hell out of the road. Pray in your home/ or at a masque/park/other place.
Get the hell out of the road. Pray in your home/ or at a masque/park/other place.
but they're muslim that means they have special rights and should be treated above everyone else
More attention should be payed to the fact that these of symbolic statements are not isolated incidents. Religion has become too confrontational and has lost it's purpose for individual people in doing so. If these Muslims in the street actually cared about their spirituality, they could have anywhere else where everyone could have seen it but not be interfered by the practice.

Cultural sensitivity is the term you're looking for.
Why are they bending over to smell other peoples' butts?

It wasn't illegal for people to pray in public last time I checked.
Someone needs to tell these people about Deism.

Praying in public? Sure. Praying in the middle of a street? No.
