I am sitting here making a gamemode for GMod and I told my friend to go play Xbox and he goes to play L4D2 and then I said he can't play internet and now hes saying that NO singleplayer games are fun. now hes trying to say that they arent fun for a long time. GTA 4 and RDR and he still is saying they are boring on singleplayer.
Just Cause 2.
That is all.
same have fun with physics as gta, but you get like 9000 more tools.
That's horrible. I'm deeply saddened to hear that.
So? Some people just don't find singleplayer games fun.
Maybe he just enjoys the social aspect of multiplayer games?
Nothing wrong with that.
Shouldn't this be in the GGD?
maybe its just that your friend prefers to play with real people in MP, because in single player you know you do play alone. Anyone else is not real. He doesn't like to be alone in a game?
I too hate singleplayer.
I only hate singleplayer in zombie/horror shooter games because those games are a lot more fun in co-op.
I typically don't play single player either, cept Civ 4 and the Total War series.
COD4 has a great single player, IMO...MW2, not so much...
I like single player. Most single/multi combos I only play singleplayer. There are a few exceptions when multiplayer is all I play.
To each their own I suppose.
I like single player because I'm not surrounded by idiots.
I fucking love singleplayer.
I hate people that jump straight into the MP aspect of a game, even when a lot of the development went into SP.
Internet ruined SP gameplay :(

Why though? If a person enjoys the game simply because of it's multiplayer then let him be. The developers still are making money and whatnot to appease those who like single player.

I'm sure a lot of development went into the MP too.
Bioshock is good. I think :)
Oh god i forgot that i had Keybored, on "Glockenspiel", alien sounds in my ears, holy fuck i got scared.. ALIEN DONT ABDUCT ME!!!!!!
I prefer singleplayer games, people find stupid ways to cheat or spam cheap shit in most multiplayer games, and it kills the fun because they're all too hyperabsorbed with winning.
I only like multiplayer because its funny to be harassed by a 9 year old who thinks swearing makes him tough. I like singleplayer more because I like the stories and because you can have more cinematic moments.

The only reason I enjoy single player is because there are no idiots that are going to piss you off.
I recently got Worms Reloaded, and I have barely touched the singleplayer.
Single Players is okay. But it can quick become boring, sometimes.
I always play the singleplayer before the multiplayer.
He has his own opinions, accept that.
So some people hated all games before the Nintendo 64 (I think) came out? huh.
I won't buy a single player game usually unless it's reduced in price since for the amount of gameplay time I get out of it, it really isn't worth the £40. Most of the time I just end up lending them from someone.
I like narrating to myself when I play single player like I'm doing a Let's Play. But I make sure no one's around first.

Other wise single player isn't that fun for me depending on the game.
