The Picture of Everything: Dedication at it's most extreme

Warning: Extreme Amounts of Awesome, also, 56k users beware.
Many years ago, a man named Howard Hallis had the most extreme idea for a piece of art ever. He wanted to create a picture...
of everything.
http://www.thepictureofeverything.com/
Now the title is a bit misleading, as the picture does not include EVERYTHING. Only EVERY character and famous object ever created. Everything from Master Chief, to Howie Mandell, to Ben Stiller, to Thomas the Tank Engine, to the Fast Zombies from Half-Life 2, to Billy Mays. Indeed, even Billy Mays is in the picture. Every celebrity, as well as every famous fictional creation, is included in this epic of a picture.
Copypasta from the artist himself:
Q: Is the original artwork for "The Picture of Everything" for sale?
A: The work is still in progress, so not right now.
Q: Are prints of The Picture of Everything still for sale?
A: A limited edition "Work In Progress" print is now available, and I'm also taking pre-orders for the completed print, which will be made when the work is completed in 2010.
Q: Where is "The Picture of Everything" currently on display?
A: The first half of the work is up on permanent display at Nova Express Cafe (426 N. Fairfax, across from Canters Deli, 323-658-7533).
Q: How many characters do you have in the picture?
A: I have no idea. Thousands.
Q: Is there anyone you DON'T have in there?
A: If you think you've found someone I missed, send me an e-mail. I'll either show you where the character is or add it to the list for the next level. Keep in mind that I don't have a lot of villains in this piece, since my friend Drew said he was going to draw a similar work with all the evil characters and places. he still hasn't done it, but I'm waiting.
Q: Do the sides of The Picture meet each other?
A: Yes. The sides meet, as do the top and bottom. I wanted to have an endless loop. The second Picture Of Everything will continue this loop, so some things along the sides will be re-drawn.
Q: Aren't you worried about getting sued?
A: Yes. But I'm relatively small potatoes. I'd like to sell the original work, but have never sold a large number of copies of the piece (out of 150 prints that were made, only about 60 of them have been sold). Even though I do use likenesses of recognized characters, I feel that they are not shown in a derogatory manner. Each character was drawn by me, and I hope in the context of the conceptual element of The Picture, that the respected copyright holders will let me continue my work without hassle.
Q: Is it true that you have 490 Pokemon drawn in The Picture?
A: Yes.
Q: What was the biggest inspiration for this picture?
A: Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s "Bluebeard".
Q: Where's Waldo?
A: I really hate that question. Find him yourself.
And now, example pictures. Note: In order to see the whole thing at full size, you'll have to go to the website.

Now remember, if there is anything you can't find, you can email him at wrongdimensionboy@yahoo.com to inquire about their inclusion.
Discuss. And the first person to find Comic Book Guy gets a cookie.
Wont even load
Damn, takes forever to load
Somebody has too much time on their hands.
Because of the 56k warning, me and my 28k won't dare try to load the images, but it seems pretty pointless.
What style of art is it in?
EDIT: Also, I'll bet Mr. Bean isn't in it.
So epic it won't even load.
Thats Waldo's Fucked up girlfriend...It even has boobs.
What the hell kinda computers are you guys running? It loads fine, albeit a little slow, on my computer.

Some of us are cursed with wireless due to ethernet cables not going well up stairs round corners and past a cat.

Doesn't work either.

I got tired of it and ran an Ethernet cable downstairs. My dog trips on it occasionally and my heart stops.
big dog+running+Ethernet cable = potential disaster.
Crashed ma' Opera :P
Damn you just in time debugger fucking everything up!
This is a ridicolous claim, because the day after he releases it, it will probably be wrong, and also, ofcourse Mr.Bean is going to be in it. I saw the guy off of South Park's 'Imagination land'...
I'm gonna spend a lot of time looking for Waldo. There goes my day.

oh god it is
Wow holy shit. Can we find the Google logo?
Hah, I see Harry Potter. :D
I found Chef, Cartman, Goku, Solid Snake, the green Voltron guy, Pillsbery dough boy, and yet.. Waldo seems to have gone unnoticed.
That's pretty cool. I bet he couldn't fit Gabe in though
