I've already got goosebumps
i dont like it
I'd say it's a boring name but Star Wars has always gone with generic serial-film esque titles
So is Luke going to die in this or what
Leia dies in this spoilers btw
Luke teaches Rey in Yoda fashion, and then dies, leaving Rey as "The Last Jedi"?
plot twist: ray dies and luke go into full fuck shit up mode
plot twist: ray dies and luke go into full fuck shit up mode
Now this is a Star Wars movie worth seeing.
i dig it. that's some cool shit
So I guess the Jedi returning in Episode VI was pointless
Doesn't have the same ring to it as The Force Awakens, but there's definitely been worse titles I've gotten used to over time. I feel like A New Hope would sound a bit silly if I was around back then. [editline]n[/editline] It might just be that Star Wars titles usually have so many syllables in them so the shorter sounding ones throw me off a little.
So I guess the Jedi returning in Episode VI was pointless
yeah i dont get this i guess all the other jedi died??
The Star Wars text is always white or golden/flat yellow Now its fuckin red What does this mean :tinfoil:
The Star Wars text is always white or golden/flat yellow Now its fuckin red What does this mean :tinfoil:
it broke new groooouund
The red Star Wars logo looks dope
The Star Wars text is always white or golden/flat yellow Now its fuckin red What does this mean :tinfoil:
Depressing title, ominous red font, it's time for a dark movie Empire strikes back 2.0?
trailer wheeeeeeeeeen
yeah i dont get this i guess all the other jedi died??
Someone just pointed out to me that the word "jedi" is both singular and plural. So there could very well be multiple living last Jedi.
luke's gonna die, rey knows the ways of the force but starts her own group that aren't jedi calling it right now
yeah i dont get this i guess all the other jedi died??
They all died in the Super Deathstar's energy blast, alongside the entire Republic Fleet.
yeah i dont get this i guess all the other jedi died??
Luke is the last Jedi in existence I'm guessing, since it's known the Knights of Ren slaughtered his school.
Why are people surprised, didn't Episode 7 basically say Knight of Ren took out the jedi?
luke's gonna die, rey knows the ways of the force but starts her own group that aren't jedi calling it right now
That could possibly be a franchise-turn off for me. Sith were an invention of the prequels, fine. But Star Wars with no Jedi? That's horrendous.
'the next chapter of the Skywalker saga' [editline]23rd January 2017[/editline]
That could possibly be a franchise-turn off for me.
That could possibly be a franchise-turn off for me. Sith were an invention of the prequels, fine. But Star Wars with no Jedi? That's horrendous.
they have to disappear in order for them to hype it back up and bring them back all grand and wonderful it is very much a possibility that somewhere in the continuation of movies it'll happen. ( obviously story timeline wise it has / is happening, but maybe to more an extreme )
like seriously the "Return of the Jedi" in Episode VI is literally Luke becoming a Jedi lol.
That could possibly be a franchise-turn off for me. Sith were an invention of the prequels, fine. But Star Wars with no Jedi? That's horrendous.
Doesn't Obi Wan name the Sith back when he meets Luke in ANH?
What if it's a remake of The Last Samurai?
Doesn't Obi Wan name the Sith back when he meets Luke in ANH?
The word Sith never appears in the OT but it appears in the drafts. You're prolly thinking of when he name dropped the Clone Wars.
i just want to see Rey at the start of the movie still awkwardly holding that lightsaber at Luke.
