• Foreign Exchange Program for my college

Well you guys, if you currently don't know me, I'm about to be a senior this year at high school in North Carolina, USA. I have come to terms with my parents previously wanting to kick me out, overcame all that bullshit, and got a job interview in 2 days to start racking some income in. My SAT and ACT scores (1690 and 27) are good enough to guaranteeing me a spot in UNC-Wilmington, a very nice college in NC. I have always wanted to be one of those people who took advantage of their younger years and traveled the world, so i looked into the Study abroad/ Foreign Exchange program for UNCW. They have a nice program, where i only pay the same tuition as i would to UNCW, but have access to study abroad all over the world, for that cost (And living etc). I am allowed to stay up to a year, for each year after my freshman year (so basically 3 years.) I am hoping on going down to England my sophomore year, and then going to Sweden for my junior year. Here is a list of colleges and available locations for me to transfer to -- http://uncw.edu/oip/program-search.aspx?region=Europe&country=any&programtype=Exchange&provider=any&term=All+Year -- Now which colleges would you reccomend for local's in both prementioned countries?? And what sort of lifestyle changes would i experience? Anyone have prior experience with this?
England isn't anything special.
Is england not that special compared to america?
Hey go if you can remember to add u's to any words that have an o in them
theres some good german universities
IMO the only undergrad UK university with a decent reputation is Swansea (I'm in engineering so I don't know much about other subjects- the UK specialises much sooner than Americans. I'd recommend it over the other British ones if you're studying something related to engineering.). It's in Wales though so it's a bit 'out there' so you won't get the vibrant buzz of a big city, but you could always come down to London occasionally. They're the closest uni in the UK to the beach, though you might find it cold coming from NC. I think alcohol is cheaper in Wales compared to other parts of the UK. As for life in the UK, in general everyday purchases are more expensive than in the US. You are allowed to drink from the age of 18 so university alcohol culture is a bit different. You can travel to the rest of Europe relatively cheaply between terms. During study there's not as much follow as in the US and more importance is given to end of term examinations. Fees are much cheaper here compared to America. It's cheaper to pay international fees in the UK than home ones back in the United States. Do you have any idea what subject you're interested in? Would you be at all interested in studying in France at all because I'm also familiar with their education system. Feel free to ask me any questions about the UK or France.
If you like beer, rabbit, or Lederhosen then come here. Otherwise, its not worth it!
Europe Ireland National Univ. of Ireland, Maynooth Direct Partnership Exchange All Year, Fall, Spring GF goes here! really nice old styled college plus the're PRE-GAME is harder then your partying. This is south campus. lovely old building and the north campus 5 mins away is very modern with great sport facilities plus we speak English so no need to learn another language. Well that does look like a great college! Im looking for mostly anything in a country that speaks english, and would be pretty awesome to visit if you understand me, i don't really know how to put it in words. I want to travel the world and not be one of those sad motherfuckers who's like "yeah, i went to college, saved money all my life, now im too old to do anything" And i honestly am not completely sure about my major, I was thinking maybe being a realtor or majoring in business and entrepreneurship, and maybe opening my own realtor company later on in life.
