Well this isn't surprising. Trying to gain a little playerbase via Humble Bundle always works well for a moment. Maybe they can retain a few players after the fact.
I was debating posting this myself earlier today. Wasn't sure if it qualified as news :v: Regardless, I still think I'll stick with Overwatch for now
15$ for Battleborn seems like an amazing deal for the content you have in it, to be honest.
Regardless, I still think I'll stick with Overwatch for now
why does everyone keep comparing this game to overwatch? they're not even remotely similar. the artstyles are similar, i guess, but that's about it.
why does everyone keep comparing this game to overwatch? they're not even remotely similar. the artstyles are similar, i guess, but that's about it.
If I remember correctly, the developers of Battleborn was the one that initially compared the game to Overwatch constantly when both games were still in development and it just went on from there. You are right, though, that they're two very different games.
Good picks in the $1 tier for sure, always had an interest in all 3 games. Picked up for sure. Sorry Battleborn would not pay $15 for you even with the presequel there :(
Good picks in the $1 tier
The first two are good but Duke Nukem Forever?
The first two are good but Duke Nukem Forever?
As someone who played The Darkness 2 twice and heard good things about Spec Ops, they make up for the slog that is DNF.
Still going to wait until it's free to play.
The first two are good but Duke Nukem Forever?
i would say the few parts of interactivity with the environment are worth about a buck
Man, I paid 120 bucks for me and a friend when this game launched. Never again. At this point I would prefer a certificate of shame.
DNF isn't that bad, not worth passing on $1 darkness over [editline]19th July 2016[/editline]
Man, I paid 120 bucks for me and a friend when this game launched. They gave me the standee so every night I sleep duke is smiling smugly at me, as punishment for my mistakes
I'm willing to trade you guys for my The War Z shame certificate, I'll take literally anything
DNF for a dolla. I've already have the other 2 games, they'll make for some pretty nice gifts, I guess.
good bundle, i don't understand how you could say dnf isnt worth 1$ though, it's not even terrible
I'm willing to trade you guys for my The War Z shame certificate, I'll take literally anything
my virginity :downs:
$1 for Spec Ops: The Line alone is totally worth it.
Pay $8.28 and get a skin pack for Battleborn, which you probably don't own. Pay $15 to get Battleborn. What kind of ass-backward tiering is this?
Spec Ops and The Darkness II are two of the four games I've beaten in a single sitting. Short, sweet, and both very good.

Too bad DNF is the only game I don't have that is remotely interesting to me. The others I have already and Battlebore doesn't interest me at all. I know DNF is crap but I still want it.
why does everyone keep comparing this game to overwatch? they're not even remotely similar. the artstyles are similar, i guess, but that's about it.
Well they're both multiplayer team-based first person games. Most people probably aren't going to be invested in two of these at the same time.
I don't understand why they have the whole "there's more games here but you won't know until Tuesday!" thing. It's actually the only thing holding my purchase off right now. I've got every game in tier 2 and I don't plan on getting tier 3, so unless I don't own the game they're revealing a week from now I'm just going to drop a dollar on it and give away The Darkness 2 and Spec Ops (assuming they're separate keys).

And yeah, they are seperate keys.
Duke Nukem Forever isn't complete and utter garbage, and it isn't Superman 64 or Sonic '06. But it's so mediocre that it gives Mighty No. 9 a fellow brother on the shame bench. I still haven't finished the game and I got to the dam areas, which I understand to be close to the end, simply because those fucking underwater Octobrains killed me every damn time and otherwise the game was so boring, so dull, so uninteresting that I just couldn't bring myself to continue anymore. The Doctor Who Cloned Me DLC campaign is probably the best part of the game, since it actually had more competent design and better gags.
Bought it only for Borderlands and NBA but I'll probably give battleborn a try eventually. Wish I had people to play borderlands with :v:
I'm a little interested in DNF. I like those older style FPS games, but when I play games like Duke Nukem 3D, Shadow Warrior, or Doom I start getting really bad headaches... something about the graphics, maybe? The new Shadow Warrior and Doom games are great fun, I really dig how Lo Wang has a strong personality and how you can juggle 8-10 weapons while running around really fast murdering everything in sight. Unfortunately from what I remember DNF had some terrible design choices and doesn't really evoke that retro-shooter feeling properly. Shame since I find Duke's character pretty entertaining.
