Yeah these are intense to watch, I was actually almost hit by a semi trailer once. I was coming home from school back when I was a wee lad and I was riding my bike up a hill. I just remember I was looking down at something and all of a sudden I heard this loud screeching and banging noise and a truck horn. When I looked up there was a dismounted semi trailer about 60 feet from me. I kind of locked up for a second then threw myself to the left in someones yard while my bike stayed in place and got smacked by the trailer. I don't know how fast it was going but I missed getting creamed by about 15 feet. I still have a picture of the bike.

I have lost a trailer before. Our fully loaded snowmobile trailer managed to slip off the ball going over a bump, snap the safety chain hooks and then flew off into the median at 55 mph. Fortunately the snow stopped it from going into on coming traffic and it didn't flip.
The highway officer was going to tear me a new one until he realized there was nothing I could have done and was a freak accident.
Single most terrifying experience of my life. I was so rattled that I didn't notice the frostbite on my ankle from it being -10F.
