The show basically follows Jeremy and his friends' adventures and drama in a comical, and most entertaining fashion. The idea of the show was to create something that gamers could relate to, and enjoy; this is gamer humor. If you're not a gamer, you likely wouldn't find most of the show even remotely comical. Chances are, you've heard of the show before, and you don't need me to explain it to you; but did you hear about the T.V. show? It was announced months ago that Canadian broadcasting company [URL="http://www.showcase.ca/"]Showcase[/URL] gave the Pure Pwnage crew a deal on their network, offering one season of a brand new Pure Pwnage [B]television[/B] show. There have been no releases of the internet episodes, and the crew has [hopefully] been hard at work on creating the television show. Here's the announcement they made 5 months ago. They've been playing Trailer Park Boys for years, censored earlier in the day and uncensored later at night; and they've also been going quite successfully with the popular show Weeds. The show is expected to debut in around March, and run for one full season; likely one show a week. It is also expected that if the show receives good ratings, Showcase will renew their contract with the PP crew and give them another season, meaning more gamer-related lols for us. Chances are the show will also be uploaded to the website in high quality stream. Sadly, Showcase is only broadcasted in Canada, that wonderful country that's always snowing, where the inhabitants play Hockey constantly instead of working, and reside to their large igloos at night, also known as America's hat. And the main reason this thread was created, was for this: up until the show's debut, the crew has been nice enough to start a production video blog, giving us some light into what's going on, and reuniting us with our long-lost friends fps_Doug and teh_pwnerer. I've been following Pure Pwnage since the beginning, and I've loved every episode. The characters are well developed, the writing is always perfect, and the comedy is just... one of those things that I would find funny. If for some reason you've made it through your 12? 13? years of life without seeing a single episode of Pure Pwnage, I command you to visit the website and watch every single episode as soon as possible. So, FP, what are your thoughts on Pure Pwnage? Will you watch the show? [that is, if you're Canadian :smug:]

I watched it for the first "season" back when it was small. Then I grew out of it.

I think the show started off rather slowly and with jokes that only competition-level Zero Hour players would understand, but it hit a more mainstream audience by the second ep and turned into something wonderful. Could do with some prettier micro-battle effects though.

FPS doug was the only good one. The rest were horribly boring.
