I wish Nintendo would just make a good paper mario again. the fact that new Wii U paper mario is going to end up as Sticker Star 2 is incredibly disheartening.
TTYD and Superstar Saga are some of my most favorite games of all time. it's heartbreaking that nintendo has managed to obliterate both series in the span of a few years
that was a really strangely abrupt review

I haven't played Paper Jam but I honestly don't expect much from it. TTYD is one of the best games ever made though, imo. At least from Nintendo.
Paper Jam
I still don't understand the logic of that game "we'll have paper mario come into the mario & luigi universe! it will be great!" "okay but what about paper luigi" "what?"

I enjoyed my time with it, wouldn't really want to play it again though.
TTYD is my favorite Gamecube game. It's just so good.

We'll never see the Bean Bean Kingdom again. I really want to play Inside Story to see Fawful again, because that's the closest we've ever gotten to one of the most unique settings we've seen in a Mario game. Sunshine was okay with that, though. I'd also love to see another Sunshine game.
I think someone's bound to make a spiritual successor to pm64 and ttyd soon considering sticker star's formula is being repeated. I've considered doing it myself.
Has the escapist site been down 90% of the time for anyone else? I've yet to load the website properly in about two months

I want to start it when I'm finally done with my computer science college classes with some online and IRL friends.

i've only finished inside story, but i've played a large chunk of the other ones I love the other ones, but inside story was just game perfection. I loved it. Please make one just like it.
I think TTYD had better gameplay than the first Paper Mario, but that the first had better world design. In the first, if you wanted to go somewhere from the hub town, you left in a specific direction. Want to go to Koopa village? Go east. Want to go to the desert? Take the train at the south side of town. In TTYD, the only way to reach certain locations is through the sewers. The original Paper Mario only gave you sewer shortcuts as a reward for progression. I was going to make a game using TTYD's method of character sprites, but with Wario as the playerable character. I've really only done some sprite work and written down some level ideas, but I also have the the followers done and their abilities (both in and out of battle) written down. Some WIP facial expressions: I planned on redoing the chin and mouth at some point. Also scaling everything up and smoothing out the jaggies.
